Zombie Malibu Sunshine - Drive Shooter

I thought this game was gonna be fun and all unlocking weapons but no like bro this game is pay to play like after the first level I had to pay to play more levels so I didn’t pay for the other levels like I don’t care about the emo girl just let me play the game!!!!

Simple game, not so much a storyline, or any development of weapons, just plain and easy shooting, not challenging. Not great graphics. Initially kept playing in the hope something would happen, nope. Wasted my time.

I still wouldn’t recommend this game.
I tend to dislike games that try to get you to pay in game but this game goes beyond that!
They want you to take out a subscription and pay them £7.99 a month!!!!
That would be absurdly greedy even if this was an A+ top rated title. Unfortunately it’s not even a good game and is made even worse if you subscribe to it.

Once you subscribe you get the additional guns - an RPG and some energy gun. When I say you get them I mean they become available in the barrels upgrades you have to shoot. Which is a shame as they then appear more than the normal guns reducing your chance of getting a decent gun. These two guns have to be the worst. They’re powerful blasts kill multiple zombies but they have no feel to them and the reload takes forever and the bullet speed is so slow you have to aim in front of what you want to hit making it way harder to hit the upgrade barrels to be able to get rid of these supposedly great guns.

Also as Jeff said in his review, the zombies seem to increase in number for a few levels but then you could play a level with over 400 zombies and then the next one only has 16 !

Even when there’s loads though, once you get rid of the starting pistol and get an automatic gun you’re basically just waving a stream of bullets at them from your gun. There’s no challenge at all. I played up to about level 100+ but TBH it was a struggle to keep playing it to get to that level. Nothing changes it’s just the same monotonous zombies that you aimlessly mow down. A few times I would fall asleep in the middle of playing a level and wake up to find I’d lost. (One time I woke up to find I’d actually won! 🤣)

My recommendations to the developers, get rid of your subscription. It’s completely stupid!

Reduce your price to $1 then you may make a few bucks off of it before people realise how stupidly boring and crap the game is.

Make guns dual wield, what game has just one gun in VR these days?

Fix your difficulty curve, games should get harder the higher the level not just a random amount of zombies thrown at you.

Also add new zombies!

If you did all that, the game would then justify the One star review.
As it stands it should be zero stars.

Five star reviews must be people paid to leave a positive review as even your own family and friends wouldn’t leave a good review for this game!
Oh, unless it was maybe written by a pre-schooler?

Okay so in summary, if they still offer a free demo, have a go and you’ll probably delete it forever after about 10 mins of playing it.

I got this as an early release. As I got close to “level “ 950 , it kicked me back to 750, then today I got to 950,and it kicked me back to 850! And now you can’t keep playing until you agree to $10 a month?! And only 1 extra gun? We also need to be able to access the tower and other mounted guns . And where is this “girl” you’re supposed to be able to save?

This used to be a great simple zombie wave shooter. When I previosly reviewed the game, I used the comment, "Can't wait for future updates". What I didn't mean was for the develper to add a subscribe popup that appears at the end of a round that cannot be closed, forcing you to pay more!

I've already paid for this game. The developers are extremely selfish for putting this subscribe block in to make you pay more.

If this silly subscribe popup isn't removed, I'll be uninstalling and playing something else!!

This is just a zombie wave shooter that isn't worth any money at all. Wave after wave is the same, just a little faster, a few more zombies and some new ways to upgrade your weapons. I do like that you can get up to two extra soldiers to help you, but it would be better if you could get more. I shot 4 barrels for an extra person, got two but the other two got nothing. It would have been great if they but one in each of the towers to help out.

I easily got to level 20 on my second try and got bored with the game and quit. After level 12, some of the levels were easier than the first few levels. What is with the LIZARD MEN and the really tall skinny dudes in a zombie game?

MY BIGGEST ARGUEMENT over this game is to permanently upgrade a couple guns, you have to pay a $9.99 A MONTH to play the game and have those two upgraded guns. A MONTH! I can see charging $4.99 for both of them, ONE time, but not $9.99 a month!

I don't know what those 5-star giver players were playing, but it sure wasn't this game, that or they are 5-year-olds playing on their parents Quest headsets. That is ridiculous!

They offered a free trial for three days; you will find out just how horrible this game really is. This is the lowest score I have ever given any game, and I have over 600 of them.
