Zengence isn’t your typical meditation or fitness game. This is positive mental health at full throttle. Zengence uses controlled breathing as your source of power while you dodge hurdles and conquer enemies. Learn to overcome stressful environments by breathing through the chaos. Find your voice and silence your inner anxieties.

HOW BREATH WORKS IN GAME

Breathe in. Breathe out. Hum into the microphone as you exhale to reveal Wraiths. Take aim and fire, dodging every attack.

The more you master your breath and vocalize through "vocal toning," the more potent the Orb becomes, revealing even the stealthiest of Wraiths and empowering your arsenal of sacred weaponry.

Keep breathing through gameplay to reveal all dark Wraiths. Defeat them to earn points and unlock new levels.

Every level completed becomes a part of your training. Daily practice will help you control stress and enhance your resilience.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Breathwork and biofeedback built into 30 levels of intense gameplay. Straightforward to learn but challenging to master.

• Daily challenges keep you coming back to sharpen your skills under new, constantly evolving challenge conditions.

• The Zen Garden is a separate space that teaches breathwork techniques in a calm setting and transfers completion rewards to regular gameplay.

Tone your breath, train your brain, and balance your mental well-being.

Creative INNOVATIVE Underrated ESSENTIAL

I can't say enough good things about this fantastic app. I believe ZENGENCE is probably the most essential app ever created to improve quality of life on any platform. There are many apps that help improve one's life (meditation & exercise) but this is the first one I've used that combines the two elements in such a creative, innovative & awesome way. In addition, the music, visuals, soundfx & gameplay are all Top-Level. After playing it for the last few months I concluded that Zengence is the most important app you could have for your Quest. Our physical & mental health are essential to a good quality of life. In my experience staticity never helps with having a sound mind & body. Proper breathing & movement are essential to managing (& can play a hand in curing) depression. Not only is ZENGENCE a blast to play, but I find myself using the breathing techniques in times of stress at work & in traffic. It does wonders in slowing my heart right down & helping me think more clearly. After owning a Quest for 7 yrs & acquiring 300+ apps, there's no app I play more than Zengence. I rank it up there with my other favorites: Pistol Whip, Smash Drums, Mini Golf, etc. Don't hesitate to purchase ZENGENCE. I promise you won't regret it & you'll be thrilled with the results 👍

Too Late to Get a Refund

I think I've had it too long to get a refund so I guess I'll give you my thoughts on why I will delete this and never open it again.

You have a decent concept here, mental health, calming, etc. The execution of it is horrible. There is nothing immersive, and it honestly feels like there isn't any rhythm. This breathing indicator will have me hyperventilating with long and short breaths changing sporadically. If I'm doing it wrong I certainly don't know about it because there is little guidance.

Now let's talk about dodging, keep in mind my guardian is WIDE, I can't get near it unless I'm really trying. In Zengence if I get too far from the center, not moving my feet mind you, just leaning, it pauses... okay, while it pauses I can't see the thing I was dodging, I center myself, resume, and immediately get hit by the thing I was dodging. This does NOT have the calming effect the developers seem to think it does.

Nothing about this feels immersive, the flat pastel color scheme, the lack of interaction with the environment, the loss of any sense of self. I feel myself standing in a room wearing a headset.

The verdict : this was a waste of $20, if you already own Pistol Whip, you'd be better off just customizing settings and turning the music down for your own calming music, trust me you will have more fun and less frustration. If you don't already own Pistol Whip that would be a better way to spend your money.

Instant Calm

Zengence is a great way to unwind! The Arcade is fun and stimulating, and the Zen Garden guides you through an easy breathing exercise that’s actually really effective. The music and audio also work really well with the visuals to create a soothing experience. I travel for work and use my headset to relax before bed, Zengence is now one of my go-to’s!

Fun experience

Game is fun and engaging and allows me to have fun while also doing something that's good for my body in the shape of exercise and breathwork!
Love the mixture of trying to remain calm and focused while the game throws all kinds of obstacles at you simultaneously.

Easy to learn but hard to master

Good game! I love the concepts. Breathing, precision, dodging and shooting on beat all tie into a scoring system. It's hard to keep up with breathing while simultaneously trying to do the other things, but it has built in mechanics that allow you to compensate for that and still be able to progress through the levels!
