No hand holding, or subscription 💸 and it’s near perfect with gorgeous environments l feel like I’m at a clean gym and my ADHD loves it. I also wasn’t too sure about outfitting the trainers but it’s a really awesome touch. The best app out of the 4 IMO, I got the verseus pack for added content and to support the devs. recharge xr and fitness one xr are great additions but could use more tlc for those games as this one is more polished. I saw on a YouTube video there’s tournaments 🏟️ or challenges I wonder if those will be added back later 🧐. Also I use my own music and follow along since I don’t like most fitness games music and not a fan of rhythm workout games since they overwork my shoulders too much which could risk an injury if you don’t use proper form or rest but I do like beat saber and synthriders but they don’t get my heart rate up like this game!! Except for totf 2 but that game is a whole nother beast.
App is no longer working and I can’t get a refund
Was a bit unsure when I bought this game, as other dance games I bought I just couldn’t get on with,
I love this game as it mixes dance with exercise, and is done at a steady pace that I can keep up with.
I feel that I will include this game in my daily workout routine with my other games I play.
there are many female trainers, but male trainers are only two.. need just one more hot male trainer
I’ve tried a wide range of dance games over the years from Dance Dance Revolution in the '90s to Pump It Up and the Just Dance series. Out of all of them, I think xFit stands out as the best so far. While it’s not a traditional dance game, it blends fitness and dance in a way that makes workouts genuinely fun. It’s now a regular part of my fitness routine, and I’ve really been enjoying it.
One suggestion I have: the boxing portion doesn’t quite give the satisfying impact feeling. Enhancing the haptics and sound effects could make the experience much more immersive for users.
I’m another person who wanted a fitness app that doesn’t force or aggressively push a subscription. XFit World of Dance stood out for that reason.
I’d been eyeing this one in the Horizon store for a while and finally gave the demo a try. After purchasing and adding the free DLC, I found it matches my current fitness level well. I especially like the Wellness DLC. It has a relaxed, chill vibe that makes it easier to stick with when I’m low on energy.
The unlockables give me something to work towards, and that really helps me stay motivated. Whether it’s new moves, stages, or outfits, there’s always a small reward just ahead. That sense of progression keeps me coming back.
I also enjoy the hand tracking, it adds to the immersion and works well most of the time. It can feel a bit odd when your hands disappear because the headset can’t track them at certain angles, but it’s a small thing and doesn’t take much away from the experience.
What I appreciate most is that I never feel punished when I’m not performing at my best by the trainers (without that in your face attitude other fitness apps have). The workouts stay encouraging, and the feedback feels supportive rather than strict, which makes it easier to stick with and enjoy over time.
