The game itself starts you off not knowing what you are doing but unlike the other reviewers complaint of this, that’s the whole point of the game. It’s telling you a story as you progress. This isn’t a game to pick up and run through, you have to dive into the story and let it guide you.

The game goes from simple to creepy to morbid to terror and an anxiety level of horror that you’ll say nope and throw your headset across the room!

Simply embrace the story and the horror and you’re going to have a good time!

I’m not going to spoil the surprises but DO NOT break the bottle! You’ll need all of them later in the game, you are not safe in closets hiding unless your crouching, DO NOT make noise it’s a thing in the game, when it seems impossible just walk away and come back to play again, everything is solvable! DO NOT look up the walk through except for solving the glitch, there is one glitch with the fireplace. (I just realized if you find a needed object and cannot grab it it’s because you need to do something else first. You have to follow the storyline.) ex: there is one called Cassandra’s note, you will nededto get this item twice in the game. On the second time it will appear you cannot grab just keep reaching for it past the item and you can pick it up.

Trust me, this is a game you WANT to play through not knowing anythingjust figured out what the mechanics of the game.

Update: This is a closed world game. You need
Progress through the game as the story unfolds. And do what the game tells you to do.

This is a intresting horror puzzle game the puzzles are really fun and the game gets creepy very fast like chapter after chapter its an great game tbh and i recommend it so go try it out.

Just bought this over the weekend definitely 4.5 stars. I know it was out for awhile but good game. Nice scare scenes overall gameplay is good. Well worth it

It's unclear what you actually have to do and why you die.

Fast Travel Games are excellent developers and the game starts off interesting but as soon as I had to get past a wraith by waiting for it to hobble around I stopped playing. Its such a tired mechanic and just waiting for ages for it to move out of the way is, for me, is just tedious. I remember the same thing 30 years ago with the first splinter cell game. Hated the game play then too! It probably wouldn’t be so bad if the running speed was faster than walking, but its almost the same. If crouching made you less visible but it make no difference - I will leave it there.
