Can’t play

A screen pops up saying that we will be using hand tracking then press A. Pressing A does nothing. Tried reinstalling but got the same issue.

Update: Thanks for the quick response! I finally figured it out. It is a fun game with nice hand tracking. An enjoyable game to relax and play.

Hi! The message means you need to switch to hand tracking and "press a button to start", which is one of the two buttons hovering under that message with your fingers. It's not "press (A) button to start". Enjoy!

Here is 2 great ideas

I love this game absalutly brilliant idea seeing as this is the only one as I know of on the quest store, what would be absalutly brilliant to add to this 2 things, a proper full scrabble game , as there is absalutly nothing been made like it , that would brilliant game to add .

Also a anagram game , so similar to how8 this works , your given a set amount of letters which you csn swap if you choose, and you have to make as many words out of that set of letters , I think if ime correct that's how the game just to give you an idea , these two ideas would be amazing to add to what uve already made

The game you've made is brilliant snd certainly gets the mind working can't beat a good letters spelling game well done for making this

Hey! Thanks for playing and for the fantastic ideas. I'll see for how I could implement a scrabble mechanic into a game mode. As for the anagram mode, there is already a game mode like this. It's called subgram, as you don't need to use all the letters to spell words, you simply have to spell as many words as possible using the same letters. Luck based game, not a logic puzzle

This would be a 5 star game if they fixed the issues.

Edit: I will try the game again with the “Wordle” mindset as the dev suggested and come back with another take on it. End edit.

The downfall of an otherwise amazing game is that it’s just a guessing game. Unlike crosswords where it gives you clues, there are no clues for you to guess which word to enter. There are just x number of letters for you to use and many possible solutions. For example, if you have the letters EABVRY and the solution is a 4 letter word it could be “very”, “bear”, “bare”, “year”, “bray”, “verb”, “rave”, or “aver”. You have 3 attempts to guess the one the game wants you to use and if you don’t get it you lose.

Edit 2: Ignore this part between the asterisks, the dev corrected me. Please look at their response below. **On top of that there is no tutorial telling you how to interpret the results though it’s pretty straight forward. Green means correct letter in the correct position, red means correct letter in wrong position, gray means incorrect letter. The lack of tutorial made me have to figure out it was a guessing game though.** End edit 2.

I love the idea, and the mechanics and MR are spot on. It’s easy to manipulate the puzzle when you need to move it and it works wonderfully with pinching your fingers. It’s a very “cozy” game outside of the frustration of getting the answer wrong when there is no indication of what word you’re supposed to use which makes it a very UNcozy game.

If they implemented a clue system like crosswords, or better yet had an option to use traditional clues or cryptic clues it would be 5 stars.

If the dev(s) read this I think the idea is great, but the implementation is poor. Word puzzles shouldn’t be luck based and that is where this game fails. I would absolutely love this game if there was a clear cut right and wrong answer (by way of clues, for example) but as it stands, it is purely luck and it is more frustrating than fun when you just have to guess the word you want me to choose.

This is a game I want! I beg you to implement these changes because it’s a perfect use of MR for word puzzles. It’s a wonderful idea and it’s so close to being a perfect MR crossword experience but it falls hard on the fact it’s a guessing game rather than a logic puzzle.

Hello! Thank you for trying the game and for the detailed feedback. This is still very much a work in progress so I appreciate your patience. To address a few things, the rules are currently more like Wordle where you do have to first guess and then you get a color code to make a more logical guess. So the game mix is crossword (visual: words cut accross each other in 3D) and Wordle (mechanics: guessing based on colors). Also the tutorial that appears when you first launch the game is also replayable from the settings menu, in case you skipped it. This explains the colors and gameplay basics. This doesn't mean there isn't improvement to be made, and I'm thinking of adding a button that can reveal the description of the word at any time. This would work as a clue, and would enable a gameplay closer to classic crossword for those who prefer that than wordle rules. And I'll leave that as a choice, so anyone can play how they like. I recently started a Discord for my games, if you join we can chat more about this, would love to get some more ideas from you: https://discord.com/invite/RPwgg8q8EG

Great with a Cup of Coffee!

Wordomi is everything you would expect from a Mixed Reality word game and more! When I just wanted to sit and relax with a cup of coffee, Wordomi was the app I opened, and I didn't even need controllers. Thanks for including Achievements!
