I like the art style and it's some cool tech to lift and lower terrain and watch the water simulate - runs pretty smooth and considering it's free AND you get to keep it forever it's worth grabbing to try it out. I'd suggest having some sort of indication on the terrain of where your controllers are actually going to affect it (like when your manipulating terrain in unreal or unity it draws a circle). I'd also rather be able to grab and move the map around like in other mixed reality apps rather than configuring the position in the title screen. It's fun and relaxing there's potential here if they keep working on it.
Wet is a satisfying, meditative game to play while seated. Perfect for playing while winding down and decompressing. Personally, I like to turn the audio down and listen to some of my own music while playing.
I got this app for free and while I appreciate it for the aforementioned reasons, I'm not sure that I'd pay more than a few dollars for this if it's going to be released in its current state. Just my $.02.
This is a nice way to wind down and relax for the evening. One thing to take this type of game to the next level is to add more, high quality music. If there was a variety of sound scapes (ocean waves for example) and other tranquil, meditative type music to choose from, this would be awesome!
It's not a big deal, but for anyone looking to play competitively, it was difficult for me to see exactly which portion of the land I was raising (or lowering). I feel a beam coming from the controllers would take away from the zen/immersion, but maybe a lightly highlighted area that will be moved would work well.
Great work on the game!
