I was hesitant to get this game because of a lot of bad reviews. But once I got it, I did not regret it. The game is genuinely beautiful, all of the models are gorgeous and truly reflects the dark and desolate vibe of 40k. The story is fantastic, even in the static universe of 40k, I think it is able to be really powerful and all of the characters have good stories themselves. There are plenty of levels and each feel super diverse. The combat, while jank at times, is genially quite fun. All of the different weapons have different play styles and I found myself really thinking about my inventory management more than a few times. Even after completing the game, The Last Bastion mode is always fun and running that with friends is genuinely exhilarating. There are a few glitches, and the weapons can be a little difficult to put away. The final boss was super underwhelmingly easy and I beat it in less than 5 minutes on my first attempt. But overall a fantastic experience in most if not all aspects. Highly recommend.
Not nearly as janky or broken as the comments suggests. Fair priced as well.
I absolutely love this game, me and my friends play it all the time. We love the universe but there needs to be more variety!!! How can I serve the emperor properly if im only killing word bearers?? I need to kill more daemon types!!!!! If anyone can get soul assembly in touch with me I will PAY THEM TO DO IT!!!
Honestly, I really like the game. I enjoy it a lot, although I can't really seem to get the Discord to work, so I'm using my review as some questions I have for it. It seems like updates have made the game a lot better than it has in the past, so that's good. I really like it.
My question is, is there going to be any other Warhammer 40K games for the meta quest? It would be cool to get some kind of space marine game or a chaos game as well, or maybe a sequel to Battle Sister. All in all, this is a really good game.
Fabulous game to just play out of the blue no need to know the backstory really just start the game and play. It’s quite enjoyable experience.
Not great
