My first racer for quest 3

I can certainly see where the familiarity in people saying it's a cross between wipeout & Mario kart 👍 😍

Started of using the lean but overall I find using analogues too turn better especially going up n over a loop 2 loop 🙃 😆 🤣 it's such fun

No issues to report 👌 🙌 😌

It's great to find a game in the Meta Store who's reviews aren't littered with way overblown good reviews undeservedly, because this is actually the best! The racing game I've been waiting for in VR!
The graphics and design are superb, the sense of speed amongst the best in VR/ Quest, and it actually controls extremely well and has every single control option you could ever ask for in a VR racer (this was a big one for me in deciding to purchase the game considering I couldn't handle nor enjoy V-Rider SBK for being near unmanagable & challenging). The difficulty of the game seems very fair so far as well, though I have yet to play past the first 5-6 races yet and only on 'Rookie' (speaking of which, the Tron-like race msps are absolutely glorious!). It'll undoubtadly get very tough I'm sure.
All of that and the game has so far also runs buttery smooth even with full tracks and blazing speeds!
I love the single player content and variety of race types, the weapons are fun and add a bit more depth to the races, and the unlockables being there to incentivize continual play beyond multiplayer/ leaderboards I never have use for (I hate games that offer no progression or things to work towards/ unlock).
The only negatives I can think of is the game not saving any progress unless you are connected to the internet, making it useless offline outside of some quick races.
There's also small things at times like my Online Challenge Obsessed achievement being stuck on 7/ 10 after I wasted time doing 3 online challenge races in a row before realizing it's just not moving...

Otherwise, this is definitely a title I am very happy to have given a chance and a purchase, and I say that even as someone who's not actually much of a racing game player outside of the occasional game or 2.

So if on the fence, absolutely give this one a purchase. You will not regret buying the best racing game to come to Quest as of yet!

This is by far the best VR racer to date.
It has a proper career mode, time trials, weekly challenges, battle modes, multiplayer and more...
The livery editor where you can paint the bike is my favorite feature.
Has multiple control methods to suit your play style and the sense of speed is insane.
Gives you a similar thrill to karting in real life.
I'd class it as a simcade racer.
Easy to play, hard to master. Impossible to stop playing.

VRacer is a fast and exciting motorcycle racing game in VR. You’ll start off racing smart bots that offer a good challenge, and as you progress, you can unlock multiplayer to race real players for even more competition.

The game lets you customize your racing suit and buy new bikes, adding a fun personal touch. The VR immersion is impressive—you really feel like you’re on the track. Just be aware it can take a bit to adjust, and some players might feel a little motion sickness at first.

If you’re into speed and competition, VRacer is definitely worth playing.

First of all: I’m quite impressed by VRacer on the Quest 3. The graphics and the sense of speed are great.

But it seems to be that there’s one thing missing which is crucial for any racing game: a tournament mode (also in single player vs AI) where you drive multiple tracks in a row and get points for each race. It’s included in wipeOut, Mario Kart etc.

It doesn’t have to be featured in the campaign but in a separate mode where you can either choose or have random tracks which are included in the tournament.

I really hope that the developers will include such a mode in the future - without it’s just half the fun…

I've played most of the VR racing games out there. I am also a sci-fi fan. This game is a perfect blend of these two things! I also love the Wipe Out games and Mario Kart games and VRacer Hoverbike blends the things I love about both of these games into one futuristic, adrenaline pumping, racing title that often has me yelling from excitement! My friends and I have regular VRacer nights where we race and hang out and design hoverbikes! If you own a Quest, this is 100% a must own title!
