Advanced VR Technique

UNDERLIE goes way beyond basic Mixed Reality. It uses a 3D scan of your environment to generate a sinister otherworldly realm. It takes advantage of the specific tech of the Meta Quest 3 to blend the real and virtual worlds. Meta Quest 3S users can still play the game--but with simplified room scan shapes, and without the depth-sensor based blending.

Beyond Roomscale

Although UNDERLIE currently uses a single "room scan," I've been able to scan in a decent-sized area into a single scan (see video). You may also need to clear out some saved room scans if you want to make a larger scan work.

Future Development

To many people, a full-blown VR game that generates it's world based on the shape of your home would be considered the ultimate VR experience. But the scope of future development may partially depend on how sales go!
