DO NOT BUY!!!

Graphics are horrible, movement is dizzying, game is basicly unplayable! 30$ for a piece of junk. They won't give me a refund even though I haven't even played for an hour. GIVE ME A REFUND!!!

Update: Where did the day go??

Update: Developers enabled anti-aliasing for Quest 3. That makes the game so much easier on the eyes. It’s time to get back into it, now! Of course, sharpening the main menu text would help, as well. Also, small ask, but can you figure out why changing the render resolution in QGO crashes the game once it starts to render a map?

—————————
This is a full featured city sim. 4 hours and several batteries later, I’m still not wanting to set this down. It definitely needs some visual tweaks. Higher res for text, distance (maybe for Quest 3). The water shaders render differently in each eye. Also, the turn controls need better distinction from the altitude controls.

However, I’m going to spend many happy weeks with this full-featured sim.

Still has the classic feel

Great city builder sim with its dark humor of being an island dictator and mischief. If you loved the flatscreen versions or looking for a fun city builder, it's worth a try. Yes, it has some bugs, but nothing game breaking.

Unplayable Due to Glitchy Roads

I love Tropico and even though the graphics on this version aren’t that great, I was so excited to try this. It’s an absolute let down, trying to place roads correctly is an absolute nightmare. Don’t even bother trying to place them uphill, the terrain deforms and glitches through them. If the road placement worked, it would probably be something I would play for hours on end. Such a shame.

Needs bug fixes

This is an excellent city/politics sim but definitely needs some bug fixes. I'm currently stuck on Olympic heist. Replayed 4 times now, and mission objectives have failed to appear each time (at different points in progress), bringing progress to a screeching halt. I really hope the devs are still working on this and not leaving us with a broken game.

Tropico!!!

Have been a Tropico fan since it's release on console platforms, so upon its VR release felt compelled to try it.
I am loving the VR concept of it's release and eagerly await future developments. It's always fun to "go to ground level" and wander through the town created.
The main bugs I have encountered are roads not connecting properly - if I notice builders or teamsters not driving to a location then check if roads are connected properly (intersections not forming properly etc.) In which case I delete a section of road and reconnect.
And occasionally the main line quest objectives in a level don't appear requiring a level to be restarted - this occurred earlier on when I played, but not too much lately.
The game-play has been streamlined compared to play on the console (no pesky research points to accumulate) which for me really improves the playability - city development can occur alot faster.
I can thoroughly recommend this game! There are alot of hours of game play involved between the main campaign and modern times campaign.
One recommendation I can't stress enough is make sure the roads connect properly...they should look like continuous tracts, if you see a "smear" pasted over a previously constructed road, delete and reconnect.
Enjoy!
