Dear developer:
I tried to contact you directly to let you know quietly... but couldn't figure out how easily so felt this was the best way to reach you:
Update: After leaving the below review, I decided to try the other levels. However, I just discovered that once I tried to play the game again, I CANNOT. It will NOT let me walk over to the circle where I'm surrounded by the different worlds. I re-centered the screen and tried everything possible. I simply can't do it. One time I managed to manipulate the pointer to point to one of the different worlds from a distance, and clicked on it. It downloaded after a few seconds but still would NOT start. Now the game is virtually useless. :( I sure hope you figure these problems.. it's a really neat concept.. but I literally can't even try out the other levels...
Original Review:
I only played the Egyptian level. I love the concept of actually walking as I have a very large play area, and the game is very creative.
Unfortunately, it was literally impossible to die by any of the spikes that come down from the ceiling or sideways from the walls (which is 95% of the level in the maze). Needless to say, it ruined the game when you could completely ignore the dangers... I would just walk right through them and never die. It got boring real fast but I persevered through the entire Egyptian level hoping it was just a single glitch... unfortunately, it happened through the entire level.
I SINCERELY hope you fix the game... and please let me know when you do. I'm not going to bother playing the rest because it aint no fun if you can just walk through the dangers. I used a quest 3.
I loooove the concept.. so I REALLY hope you fix it. You already did the hard work in making the amazing game. Merely causing the person to die when the spikes (or anything hits them), should be a heck of a lot easier.
Best regards,
A fan. :)
Ps: this game will definitely get 5 stars when you fix this glitch(s).
I love fantasy world exploration VR & this is fabulous! You walk through mazes but never hit a boundary, it's awesome & the different experiences have been so enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Very cool room scale experiences. I sadly don’t have much space to enjoy it fully but a stick locomotion was added recently to get a glimpse of what it would look like if you had enough physical space.
Don't let the rough edges of the UI fool you! This is a gem, which could use the help of an actual graphic designer to polish it up much so it would look as good as it is under the hood. The new AI level is getting there, though its looks are not 100% either, but it is a lot of fun. Please add a bit more mixed reality too, maybe we could see more of our real surroundings through some of the windows? Either way the infinite labyrinths provide infinite fun for big and small alike.
This app is sort of a pioneer (along with Tea for God) in standalone roomscale VR gaming, and everyone should check this out. I wish that there were more experiences because they're all so interesting and I want more!
Speaking of the experiences, this is one of those apps where you have to do a bunch of downloading in-app. Which is really annoying to deal with as someone who lives in a place with terrible Internet. It really drags my experience to a halt every time, and it doesn't help that my in-app downloads seem to keep disappearing. Imo apps REALLY need to get away from this type of downloading experience as much as possible. If everything was included in the main download then this would be a 5/5 for sure.
If you want to get an idea how this game is, download Tea for God demo. Once you have played that, get this one. This one is IMHO better, The different worlds that you play in are fantastic. One world is an art gallery and you can add your photos. Nice. This also has Mutli-player and you can create your own worlds. I haven't figured this one out yet but you can do it. For the price, you will get your monies worth.
