Be a Part of It

The pinnacle of train simulation is coming to VR! Train Sim World VR: New York is a realistic and fun train driving experience like no other. Step into the driver’s seat of a real-world train and transport passengers along the Big Apple’s Harlem Line.

Jump into Career Mode and start as a Rookie Engineer on the Harlem Line. Receive instructions and challenges from management and progress your career.

Play a more chilled out and relaxing experience with Journey Mode. Hop out of your train and visit all the stations along the Harlem Line, go exploring for collectables, and interact with the environment.

When you’re not out driving trains and exploring the secrets of the Harlem Line, decorate, chill out, and interact with your New York apartment (perhaps the most unrealistic part of Train Sim World VR).

If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere

Not that bad

The game will never win awards for graphics, but it is enjoyable and time consuming….love the journey sections going from a to b in an allotted time…personally not had hardly any glitches ….few touch ups here and there would be great

great but..

this’ a small dev team which
, as far as i can google, is very dedicated. give it some time, friends :) like medieval dynasty and green hell, they’ll showup for all the bugs and most likely for more. i know we train folks are a lot into detail, but time and commitment is too, a very important detail. ;) they’ ll deliver a great game im sure;)

Want to become a train driver

This game got me into becoming a train driver IRL. The graphics could of look more realistic and It can get boring and tiring an hour during gameplay. Atleast make a animation scene during gameplay where we can see the passengers get on the train that would be cool to watch! The levels are fine, some got me unexpected with speed limit, I did had some game crashes but not as much. Decent game to becoming a train driver yourself!

Has potential

The game shows several weaknesses that affect the overall experience. For example, while passengers do board the trains, they simply disappear, which breaks immersion. The stations feel empty and lifeless, which doesn’t help the atmosphere. There is barely any oncoming traffic on the tracks — far too few trains pass by in the opposite direction, making the environment feel very empty. A visual map is completely missing, so you can’t see where you are on the route; instead, only the name of the next station is shown in text. The controls feel imprecise, and there's no haptic feedback, which makes handling more difficult. The graphics are outdated and no longer meet modern standards. Edge smoothing (anti-aliasing) could be improved, especially in the direction of cities, to make visuals sharper. In addition, the tracks don’t render smoothly — they suddenly "pop" into view, which breaks realism. The acceleration of the trains from a standstill takes too long, making the driving feel sluggish. A feature that would greatly enhance the game would be an exterior camera to view the train from the outside. It would also be desirable to ride as a passenger, to experience the journey from inside the train and make the experience more varied and realistic.
