Build towns on many islands
Pathing and sub optimal behaviors of the citizens, especially for wood gathering. Pace is SLOW. Actions on an object are queued by the person starting to come TO the object, not arriving at it. Therefore, 5 people may refuse to drink water if one person is walking from the opposite side of the island to get water. This is painfully lazy programming and causes you to have to sit and just ... wait. Which is bad enough in normal games, but especially painful in VR.
I gave this game an honest 5 minutes, thats all I could handle. The basic movements and information system is not traditional and I know I won't be able to get used to it.
I had an incredibly enjoyable experience with this game! It's stunning, entertaining, and addictive. Unlike the mobile version, playing in VR feels almost magical. You can interact with the characters and animals by getting close and picking them up. I didn't expect to complete all the islands in campaign mode before losing interest, but I felt a bit sad when I reached the end. Now, I plan to explore all the islands in sandbox mode. I highly recommend this game for all ages; it's a great way for kids to develop various skills, and it’s also lots of fun for adults.
Loving this game at the moment, only an hr in but brings back old memories of playing the settlers when i was a kid. Obviously alot better quality than back then and love been able to zoom in and out for closer inspection
VR game that reminds me of playing the settlers 2 on my dad's PC. The mechanics can be a little clunky at times but that's a small point for a great game.
