Easy to get stuck into for hours, it's fun, not stressful. Lots of cool power ups and bonuses and driving in VR feels great. I play this everyday, it's awesome!
This kart racer fails on the most basic level, the handling. The physics feel way off. No matter how good the rest of the game is, if the driving isn’t fun the game isn’t fun.
And the rest of the game isn’t good.
The graphics are extremely simplified to the point where it looks like a Nintendo 64 game and the track designs are very bland. Those who value resolution above all else will be pleased though since the resolution is high on the Quest 3.
It’s also glitchy. During the tutorial what I think was supposed to be a video giving instructions was just a jumbled mess. In menus the laser pointer jumps around. There could be more glitches but I didn’t want to play it past the refund window.
It’s even less of a compelling purchase because Quest has Galaxy Kart which runs very well on Quest 3 now that it’s out of early access. Galaxy Kart is a much better game in every way, except resolution. Sacrificing resolution for beautiful environments with interesting and creative courses is a small sacrifice.
It’s a lot of fun and it controls well enough. I got it on sale for five dollars so it’s especially worth it. Main drawback is that there aren’t enough players (yet) for multiplayer to set up a match. But the game gets points for having multiplayer in the first place. If you like racing games like Mario kart, then this game is for you.
I've been playing Touring Karts PRO for 3 days and it's a great game! Add me to compete in daily events and Championships 🏎🏁 User: Fer_777
Played the demo and really enjoyed it, so i purchased the complete pro package.
I really enjoy this game, it doesnt get 5 stars yet as its still a little bit unpolished and gitchy at times.
Ie if i am 3rd my trophy cup is floating in mid air not in my hand.
Other wise this is as close to another karting game on Nintendo that i have seen, loads of combos and tracks to complete. For £11 its going to be one of your better VR purchases i can promisr you that.
Single player or multi player and even just friends can play.
5 out of 5
I am a Chinese player, for now, it need to switch to the Chinese Language in the setting panel manually,if system can detect it automatically,I think it is more better
If could, maybe the begining tutorial will show the correct Language but for not just English
well...
three months passed, the problem still there
it sucks
