My favorite VR game

This remains my favorite VR game, years after I played it first on another platform. The free-ranging jumping gameplay takes full advantage of VR, and the movement mechanic is comfortable, since it's point-and-click (no arm swinging required). There's plenty of content too, with optional speed and collection challenges.

The weak points: some of the later mechanics (such as ball-in-socket) are a bit fiddly, and the graphics are plain, even by VR standards. But overall the gameplay here is great.

IT WORKS AGAIN!

Changing my review from one star to five, because IT FINALLY SAVES AGAIN ON QUEST 3!

Here's the kicker, I don't know if they patched it, or if my reinstalling the gane popped the "Allow this game to save data to your device?" dialog and that did it, but either way I don't care, because TO THE TOP IS BACK!

So Electric Hat devs, if you patched it, thank you!

And if you're one of the many Quest 3 owners in the comments experiencing the same issue, I'd say try reinstalling and looking for that dialog. Good luck!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to bounce up the side of a giant robot.

Yes the save works

So as someone else wrote, the storage access is OFF by default for the game. Go in the Quest parameters, privacy settings, look for the game and turn ON the storage access. Progression will then be saved. Tested myself on quest 3

For those whose progress is not saved.

The fix is to manually set permission for storage access. The game unfortunately doesn't display prompt asking for access. After setting up storage access permission the game saves progress correctly.
I already contacted developer, he promised to look at this, but I was quicker to find out :)

Can't praise enough how much I adore this game. It's like a dream of being able to fly. The game is all about parkour, but it gives a sense of freedom like a flight ( there is even a flight later in the game). With the coop addition it is even better. Best game on Quest of course!

Fun, but…

This game is fun and can be addicting once you start to gain a rhythm. But… it has some of the worst and absolute most infuriating glitches that come out of nowhere. Sometimes when you make an important jump, the screen just starts twitching in different directions when you land. I try to sit still regroup but you are just toast at this point. Same when you make a jump and look the wrong way, the screen completely disorients and messes up your jump. It can be plenty of of fun but I have seriously almost thrown my headset off with these glitches.
