Throwing Punches is a boxing game where you can punch your opponents from a distance. Throw your punches and control them in flight while dodging enemy attacks. It can be a real workout! You can slow down time if the situation gets out of control.

Go through 12 levels consisting of 4 stages each as fast as you can to stand at the top of the leaderboards!

Test yourself in Endless Random mode - whether you clear the stage or not - you never know what comes next!

Experiment with modifiers - make your fists go faster, disable gravity, or change the slow motion controls!

Now with three ways to control slow motion: manual, "if you move, time moves" and "time slows down when bullets are nearby"

The mechanics are a bit buggy tho

This is what I expect from VR titles

You just connect and jump into the action. Very funny! And super cool mechanics

Cool Idea Fun Game

Love the idea, little bit of a workout, difficulty balance was perfect.

Super fun to throw the punch, slow down time and guide the hand around!

Fine for the price - short

It's satisfying when you figure out how to throw the punches correctly (slow throw, aim with your pointer knuckle, smooth movement only!), and the workout aspect becomes mostly legs/core through dodging. The slow-mo mechanic is awesome.

That said, I ran through the whole game in about a half hour total end to end, tried training, tried endless mode and it felt repetitive very quickly. There aren't many scenes, which is fine, but the locations of the enemies remain roughly fixed, so you can immediately know from the first moment where everyone will be. Endless mode even cycles through all the maps, including those that have only very few enemies running out, rather than letting it get progressively harder (or stay at a set intensity).

For replayability, I suggest they populate every map with a few hundred possible spawn points and then randomly select from these when spawning enemies so the game stays surprising and fun. It also wouldn't hurt to have a variety of objects (trains, barrels, houses, etc) so they could auto-generate maps.

I would need to have more content and randomization to come back to this game in the long term.. I feel I've basically memorized everything already, so I'll be returning it and stick to pistol whip for my leg day. I may come back to this game after more content is added.

For the price though, 5 stars. I could see spending like 5-10 hours on this game before it becomes totally lifeless.

Great

The gameplay is very fun and addictive, I beat all the levels after 2 sessions. This game gets super intense and you work up a real sweat.

I look forward to harder levels!! Keep up the amazing work Devs!

One thing I would improve on is the endless run. It would be better if it continuously got harder and at the end it shows how many enemies you defeated.
