The secret pyramid

Really fun looter shooter type game, with the atmosphere of going into the pyramids is really cool in my opinion! I was wondering if the developers are going to add save states or even checkpoints because it does take some time to get through the game and I haven’t beatin it yet lol overall I’m glad I picked up this title!

This game shows some promise. The environment is very unique, graphics are pretty good, and the procedurally-generated levels keep you guessing. But, it has one MAJOR flaw that renders it almost unplayable: there is no saving. How can it be considered a roguelite if you can't save? Nothing you earn or upgrade carries from one run to the next. There is no getting stronger through failure here. It's a shame, because it could be a great game otherwise.

The first couple of minutes I thought “too much zombie shooting, this’ll get boring quickly.”

But by the time the 30 minute free trial ended I immediately purchased it, despite the fact that it’s pretty rough around the edges.

Every time I think I’ve had enough roguelikes, another good one comes along and hooks me.

The locomotion feels a little sloppy. You can get stuck on the scenery for a second and when you step on a lift you’re pinned to the spot until the ride’s over. (Note that I play in roomscale and turn with my feet, not the thumb stick so your experience may be different if you turn with the stick seated or in stationary standing mode.)

The gun handling is old school VR style, no two handed grip or manual loading.

Occasionally enemies get embedded in the scenery, but so far I’ve still been able to kill them.

Despite all this, the game is great fun to play!

I love the art direction. It has a unique look.

Lots of different enemies, all well animated. A good assortment of weapons and upgrades. And just when I thought I’d seen all the pyramid had to offer I made it to a very interesting new area then the free trial ended and I got kicked out to the purchasing screen. That cliffhanger triggered the instant purchase. 😁

As someone else said, there doesn’t seem to be a save game option. I’m hoping it saves more than just your settings and things start to unlock.

But even if I have to start over from square one every time, it’s ok because every run so far I’ve seen something new.

I love the game I would love to give it five stars 🌟 .if only I could of turn with out physily turning smoothly. And I hope in future there could be more of this game to come. Brilliant grafits. I just hope there will be more characters

Most impressed with this game graphics very good. You can see a lot of hard work has gone into the making of this…the atmosphere and music are spot on ,the game play is top notch.Have not as yet found if I can save progress in game,lots of upgrades.well worth the money.Really pleased took a chance and bought this. The mummy’s various types are extremely well created.lots of twists and turns,changing scenarios. Again a real bargain!!!! Try it sure your love it
