Fireproof Games continue their award winning game series, The Room, with The Room VR: A Dark Matter.
The British Institute of Archaeology, London, 1908: The disappearance of an esteemed Egyptologist prompts a Police investigation into the unknown. Explore cryptic locations, examine fantastic gadgets and enter an otherworldly space which blurs the line between reality and illusion. Designed from the ground up for the unique capabilities of virtual reality, players can inhabit the spine-tingling world of The Room and interact with its strange contraptions in this compelling new chapter.
Fireproof Games are a small independent team working in Guildford in the UK. We self-published our first game, The Room, in September 2012 and were stunned with both the critical success and our new-found fan-base, not to mention multiple international awards. The Room games have since changed our lives and we hope you enjoy our Virtual Reality take on the series.

I played Ghost town and I hope there will be another one and then I played this game the Room and it was awesome. I hope there will be more like this coming soon.
Just play it, you'll have a great time
It was a real brain teaser sometimes
I hope that you've played the four mobile (and PC?) games of The Room Series.
If you haven't, go do it. The story is minimal until 3 and A Dark Matter, but they're worth it.
If you've played and enjoyed them, or are just discovering The Room in VR...you won't be disappointed. This *IS* the king of independent/small company puzzle games, and it is absolutely worth the buy if you enjoy brain teasers.
It isn't just puzzles, but a haunting narrative.
I played Ghost Town first and just finished The Room. Both are great games! I like the way you can move in Ghost Town more, little more freedom of movement. The puzzles were hard enough to make me think but not so hard that I would give up. I did use the hints a few times, helped me along. They both were very short games but I really had fun playing them. Great job Devs!!
Reminded me of the fun I had playing Myst many years ago. Hope to find more games like this. Fun puzzles and beautiful design.
