Welcome to The Link Facility.
The facility was established after Dr. Sam Summer discovered a mysterious portal deep within a cavern. Years of research led to the expansion of the facility into what you see today.
We have developed a method to open and activate the portal using unique creatures we've collected, known as "Reds." We've successfully captured two of these Reds, which assist us in controlling the Link, enabling travel in and out of the portal. Our ultimate goal is to control the Reds remotely, eliminating the need for human explorers like yourself.
As a scientist at the facility, your mission is to enter the portal, now known as The Link, and gather valuable data. Each expedition into The Link presents a new and unpredictable environment, beyond our control.
Within The Link, your primary objective is to find the exit, marked by blue domes we call "Links." This otherworldly realm is a dark void, but you will be equipped with a scanner to navigate and locate the exit.
Be cautious of the Reds within The Link. Contact with them will reset your journey and expel you from the portal. They are not friendly.
There have been reports of missing children of the facility’s scientists, raising concerns that The Link may be responsible. Additionally, we've encountered anomalies within The Link. Something is happening, and we must understand the consequences of our actions.
Good luck, and stay vigilant.

Never had a game make me so motion sick. It also locks up when it loads levels, making it worse. And after wandering around in the dark to find a blue dome for the first 6 levels, I got bored and gave up!
I've had this game for I guess a week now, but I've yet to figure out what the point of it is outside of going through invisible-wall mazes constantly "spraying"... whatever it is coming out of the device to get some idea of your present location.
Why? Who knows...
There's zero narrative or characters and the "gameplay" loop is aimlessly spraying and walking around (and literally nothing but that minus maybe avoiding the 'Reds') small 99% empty maps to find the exit (nothing else at all to ever see or find besides the exit) so you can go to the next and do it again for no reason..
What am I missing here?
WHAT is the point?
***UPDATE: I spoke with the dev, who is an incredibly nice person in addition to being a talented developer. He was very responsive to input and started a fix right away. The issues below (most of which actually were just initially unclear as opposed to being fundamentally problematic) are good to go. I can't wait to keep exloring the portals and discovering links!***
This is such a great use of VR. It's incredibly original, spooky (but not so terrifying that you'll crap yourself) and intriguing. Discovering the worlds as you progress through them is such a novel concept. However, it seems like there are a few design flaws that may hinder me from playing any further. Devs, please read and respond if possible, because I'd really like to keep playing this, and not have to refund it!
1) Is saving possible? During my initial play session, I discovered the first 4 links and then exited the app. Upon opening the app again, my "link count" was reset to zero. It looks like all of my progress was reset. I couldn't find any place to manually save...
2) After selecting the first link, the voice in the training facility mentioned that entering one link takes the explorer to the subsequent link. However, every time I walk into a blue sphere, I am transported back to the facility, from which point i can select another link to find. Is this right?
3) Is there an order in which the links must be collected? During my first play session, I collected the first 4 in order. During my second play session, after I disappointingly discovered that no progress seemed to have been saved, I selected and quickly found the first link. Then, just to see what would happen, I tried selecting the 29th link. Nothing happened. I thought, 'Oh, they must have to be completed in order,' so I then selected link #3, thinking it would make me do #2 first, but it actually let me do #3. Is there any rhyme or reason to this?
This game works so well for VR and the gameplay loop is fun and pretty spooky! The only things I could ask for is faster smooth turning and a seated mode.
Like exploring the Matrix.
