Terra Alia: A Multilingual Adventure

Edit- I joined the Discord Server and it was no help solving the issues in the game that you say can be explained. Seems lots of comments if having to start game over because of bugs. Currently stuck in desert for months game won't let me move forward. I completed everything but can't take portal back. No one wants to play a game that makes them have to start from scratch after spending hours playing. If there were walkthroughs beyond the school yard I would maybe know not what to do the 2nd time around to avoid whatever glitch is in the game. Maybe add a fast travel back to the school from the watch. Might solve the getting stuck in other levels unable to get out.

This game reminds me of Hogwarts Legacy in some ways. It is visually stunning. It makes learning spanish fun. I do wish there was a manual save feature because I have had a few times where I hit glitches and had to close out of the game and go back in so I could continue. Example: I dropped the paper clue from the first chest in the game and it fell on floor. Nothing I did would let me retrieve it. I had to restart game and the game didn't autosave anything I had done. The next glitch occurred in the garden when caretaker asked me to take care of the kids leaving trash everywhere. I went to talk to the boys and the game microphone wouldn't pop up for me to record my response. I had to close out again and go back in for it to work. The third glitch I ran into was the girl in the park that asks for you to find parts of her broken wand. One of the pieces was on a park bench. Nothing I did would let me pick it up. My glove would go into bench and get stuck. Pointing at it only lit up the bench. I still can't retrieve things from a distance. I have to make myself small "crouch" then pick them up. That didn't work either. When I try to pick up things from distance a blue thread comes off glove but doesn't always attach to what I am pointing at and even if it does, the item doesn't come to my hand. I really hope all the little bugs get fixed because this game is pretty awesome to play. Adding control instructions as part of guide would be a nice touch too.

Saving issues aside ( please add a manual save feature ) I’m a college mandarin student, so while I’m not perfect I know my tones pretty well , and I know I’m saying words correctly that I use daily in school and the microphone is still turning them back as incorrect … especially with a tonal languag like mandarin , you guys gotta loosen the microphone up a little it gets frustrating repeating a word I know I’mSaying correctly over and over … mondly has it done with balance check that app out for guidance

This game has really made learning fun, which makes me play more, then I learn more which makes me want to play more again :D
I hope this game keeps receiving updates and giving more content! :D

I just did the tutorial in Korean and had a good experience. Im looking forward to more and may update my ranking later but… I will mention that it gave the wrong 한글 for “vase,” and the last door in the tutorial was a little funky because we both hadn’t seen the last word yet, and secondly, the last word is used for both chest AND crate (상자) so there’s room for confusion too.

Enjoying the game and no crashes, yay! Cannot figure out for the life of me how to complete a duel. I'm sure the was a tutorial I missed and I cannot seem to find the right combination of buttons to lock in my answers. It's frustrating I have to use the run option to bypass the duels when I know the answer. I'm still trying to relearn how to grab objects from a distance. Could really use a wiki or menu option to see the tutorials again.
