Tea For God is a VR adventure that uses impossible spaces with procedural generation to allow players infinite movement within their own room. Customizable gameplay can be anything between a relaxing long walk, an intense arcade shooter (checkpoint based) and a roguelite shooter-explorer.
In the distant future, humankind has been united, ruled by God Emperor. Endowed with advanced technology we reached stars, colonised new worlds, went onto endless crusades against myriads of civilisations.
Personal tragedies tend to be meaningless against the time. But once in a while, one person may start a fire that can change the fate of the whole universe. A man who lost his family, who holds God Emperor accountable for their death, seeking answers and vengeance, embarks onto his last journey to the place no human has ever left alive, where God Emperor is believed to reside.

I beat the game, and I loved it. I just want to ask, is this game still being updated?
It's just totally worth it!!!
I bought this game years ago but wasn't much of a reviewer then. All I need to say is get this game. No developers have stepped outside of the simple box the way this developer did. Absolutely brilliant game!
this is an AWESOME game. i dont see why it hasnt become the poster child for VR, the way super hot used to be... a decade ago. the bottom line is, you can play that, beat saber, almost any of those games in 2d. but here is the FIRST TRULY UNIQUE vr game that you CANNOT play in 2d -- or alternatively, the first VR game where you walk to move and never have to worry how small your living room is.
that enough should be enough for everyone to give this a go. but what topped it off for me is the incredible depth of the game. i came in expecting just the mechanics of letting me walk around to justify the cost. but i didnt expect it to also add puzzles, bosses, story, so many unique rooms/scenarios/enemies/weapons, and generally speaking the complexity of a top-rated, sophisticated game. it really blew me away.
now, i would say its not without areas of improvement, for sure. some of the instructions arent clear enough to me. i dont have any sense of how near the objective i am (i havent won yet). and it took several back and forths with the developer to get setup initially (but he is helpful). but none of these are enough to prevent me from giving 5* and recommending to everyone.
I have never left a review for anything, but I have to express my thanks to the developer. I did not know VR could feel like this. And I already LOVED VR.
Would be the benchmark for VR if it was not so rare to have enough space to run around. I guess my favourite content creators can’t review it because they live in apartments. But if you have a backyard or a local park, DOWNLOAD THE DEMO, please.
I ACTUALLY forget I am playing VR for the ENTIRE time I am playing. Not just a few moments here and there.
Of coarse there are suggestions I have to make the game better. But please just make new games with a similar concept. I pray for a day where my entire game catalogue consists of games like this.
I have a room that's around 9 foot by 20 foot for playing VR games in. However this game constantly tells me to try standing inside my wall to start. Constantly telling me to walk through walls to move areas etc. Then when you try to calibrate, you get an overly complicated wireframe room that when you spend ages setting up, resorts to default as soon as you return to the game and again, "Please walk through your wall to begin".
Even though my Quest 3 has an amazing room scale and boundary scanner, the game refuses to use this.
Worst money I've spent on the VR so far, woeful experience.
