Sorry to say as taskmaster fan this game is a disappointment the controls are really awkward and some of the tasks are really bad, it's only short not surprised that they reduced it to 11.99
Why on earth does the environment move when you raise or lower your head? No other game does this and it is vomit inducing. Can only stomach about 5 minutes of playtime.
When youre stationary and move your head around the background and stationary items move a bit in a really choppy way. Instantly made me dizzy and I couldn't play anymore. I was also disappointed with the low fidelity in a number of spots and common vr pitfalls like items moving through each other etc.hope they improve the playability in the future.
The only thing that would make this fantastic adaptation of the popular game show even better for me would be a local multi player mode and it would be so obvious too because the oculus would work almost exactly like it's in the show only the candidate currently playing would be able to read the letters and see what's going on unless people are streaming it to their TV
Maybe the great great team behind this might consider adding local multi player 🙏 even if they don't well earned 5🌟
Huge fan of Taskmaster, not a huge fan of this. The tasks in this game don't have quite the genius of the TV Taskmaster tasks, and many of them are very frustrating (although I'm many TV tasks are too for the contestants) to perfoem. The main issue here is the object physics that don't stack or interact with other objects as they should and are harder to manipulate than in real life making for a long frustrating time when you have e.g. 20 min to stack glitchy items for goals I won't spoil. I was skeptic of this game but wanted to give it a go all the same, in the end I was unfortunately right.
This games mix of silly and tricky tasks really makes you think on your feet. The VR aspect is awesome, making you physically move around and get creative in ways that are hilarious. The graphics aren’t the most advanced, but the cartoonish style fits perfectly with the vibe of the show. Overall, it’s super fun and I can’t get enough of it.
