The inner childhood initially got excited about a tank game being on VR based on the old tank console games. However, as much as i tried to be open minded i cant help but feel like this game is more of a demo than a finished product. Besides the cool background rock music, theres not much of note to i. The graphics are very basic and it’s always the same red brick enclosed environment. After a few rounds, there wasnt much to keep me engaged. If there different settings you could choose, different tanks or different ammo types for different enemy tank types, thst would pea my interest. And not sure if just was an error on my part, but the actual action of shooting was inconsistent. I believe you press and hold down the trigger, then let go after a couple of seconds. Randomly it would work and other times wouldnt work doing the same action. This game is a great idea but i just cant help feeling wanting much more than i was getting.
Feeling old-school
I love this little gem. It reminds me of Battlezone. Sure it is a little basic but the driving and combat are fun so that’s all that matters. I’m looking forward to see where this one goes.
Of course there needs to be some more update for this game, but it really reminds me of my childhood when I played tank game on the old console.
For this game I am the tank and it was fps game.
The AI needs to be updated so they should be smarter.
Other than that, I really enjoy the game.
I went in with an open mind, but this was a frustrating experience. While I respect that this is a solo dev project, the final product feels extremely unpolished.
The graphics are very basic, even by indie standards, and the music doesn’t add to the experience. The core gameplay is extremely simple, with little to keep players engaged. The controls work, and the menu functions as expected, but beyond that, there isn’t much to praise.
For a paid title, especially at its current price, I find it hard to recommend. The game might have had potential if it offered multiplayer or deeper mechanics, but as it stands, it feels more like a tech demo than a full game. If future updates bring significant improvements, I’d be open to revisiting it.
Great game. Very reminiscent about video games in the '80s. After playing this I think I am going to get a swivel chair to use. I think it would be great to be able to spin around while playing.
