I love this
Reminds me of a child hood game but it's on a field a battle field thinking cap on for my next move ..I love these little soilders ..I love this game no complaints...add more levels AND keep this game alive... And can you guys please add multiplayer .....alot of the best games on here sometimes single but I really think that it needs to be multiplayer you will get more of an audience because people want to play with their friends overall this is a great experience my second board game ever in my life to like table .. it has guns. Swords .. the video on this game does not do it justice because this is the exciting experience very pleasurable ... Once inside you are immersive. GET THIS GAME YOU WILL LIKE IT
Nice game but still with many bugs
3 difficulty levels look like the same difficulty.
Some cards you can not return to the hand, you must play them.
Three shot is everytime hit in case of fail too.
Spaceship strike is not so strong than knife attack - it is really weird.
Reinforcements sometime are not playable.
Squad type of game I had shorter time than was described. It is completely unplayable for me.
A Must-Play for Turn-Based Strategy Fans
If you enjoy games like Demeo, Tactica: First Contact is a no-brainer. Great visuals, loads of levels, and satisfying tactical gameplay. There are some bugs — table movement can be a bit clunky, and character control occasionally feels fiddly — but nothing that ruins the experience. It's really fun overall and worth the time!
Very promising, xcom style game

Really want to give this game 4 or 5 stars, as I absolutely love the gameplay style of old Xcom games... but there are too many bugs right now. Lots of freezing and crashing, and one of the boss characters is completely glitched. He won't move or attack, and seems to occupy half of two tiles on the screen. You can't attack him with anything but grenades, air strikes, etc., you can't target him individually.
Meta needs more like this! A+
Bought this as Demeo is my go to game and Quest3 leans itself towards turn based and real time strategy games. I was excited to find out there was a modern style game as in Tactica. I am pleasantly surprised, especially as it's still Early Access. Game play is nice and easy, maps look great. The camera controls are working nicely. Tutorial easy to complete. The mixed reality looks a treat. Enjoying playing this title and impressed so far. Things to make it better would be if you can pick up each playing piece and view the characters closer and find out more info on each piece, enemies included. Shadows on the heroes and villains would be cool too. I am really happy so far and look forward to what else Tactica will bring to the literal table. LOVE IT A++ if you are on the fence defo go and buy.
UPDATE DEVS: I noticed that the star scoring system doesnt work/save.
Also when the sniper "missed" he actually hits everytime. When rotating the table it would be much better if it rotated from the centre instead of on a corner axis.
