I'm not super into social multiplayer games but I was gifted this to try out and I found it really enjoyable.
The lobby room looks nice, nicely lit and I loved walking around grabbing board games off the shelves and putting them on tables!
First thing I did was walk up to the darts table - I've experienced VR darts in Horizon Worlds, in Pinball FX, and some standalone darts game so I can say the throwing feels perfect in this.
Everything just feels 'right' theres no jankiness - this app just feels like its been carefully crafted to make all the things feel 'nice' and I appreciate that.
I went over to a table and at first thought it was air hocky but it was beer pong. I threw a couple of shots and it felt good. I want more things in there though like table tennis, ice hockey, pool - but whats there at the moment feels good. There's other stuff to do like take selfies, pour drinks, play music, use a slot machine and win prizes - I got a balloon which was fun to play with and then I let it go and it floated up and popped
One of the devs joined and he showed me rooms, and they look really nice! There was a nice touch like a painting on the wall with a bird and it animated and flew off - stuff like that is magical in VR and I feel like a lot of multiplayer social experience type games try too hard to mimick reality and forget VR can do cooler things.
The UI is nice - easy to understand and intuitive - the music was a bit loud and I had no trouble quickly going to settings and lowering the music volume.
Like walk about minigolf, the DLC can be shared - not everyone needs to own it - I got to play the log chopping game by joining the devs part and it was really fun! Its a bit like jenga but with a tree. Easy to learn, hard to master. I've bought that now to practise
Bit pricey though... I wonder if they could make a free version with limited features because convincing all your mates to buy it might be hard... or pick up in a sale.
As a content created, I love games like this because I have so much fun. I would definitely play this again and it’s worth buying very family-friendly game.
More Than Just Digital Board Games — It’s a VR Spectacle! ✨
Table Party doesn’t just digitize bㅡoard games — it reimagines them in the most magical way possible. From the vivid animations to the immersive environments, every game feels like you're stepping into a living, breathing world designed for fun.
The attention to detail is incredible. Dice don’t just roll — they bounce with weight. Cards don’t just flip — they snap with flair. Each mini-game has its own atmosphere and charm, and it genuinely makes you feel like you’re inside an animated board game universe.
This isn’t just a VR port of traditional games — it’s a celebration of play, imagination, and immersion. If you’re looking for a VR experience that brings board games to life like never before, Table Party is absolutely worth it!
Great Value for the Price — So Much to Do! 💸🎲
Table Party offers an incredible amount of content for a very reasonable price. Not only do you get access to a wide variety of board games, but there's also a fun and interactive lobby where you can enjoy mini-games like darts, beer pong, slot machines, and more.
It feels more like a full social experience than just a collection of games. Whether you're playing with friends or just hanging out in the lobby, there's always something to do.
If you’re looking for a feature-packed VR game that doesn’t break the bank, Table Party is a fantastic choice. Totally worth it!
One of the best parts of Table Party is just hanging out in the lobby with other players. The Community Room feels like a real virtual party space — you can play mini-games, take fun photos, throw darts, or even mess around with props together. It’s more than just waiting for a match — it’s a whole experience on its own.
I’ve had some of the most fun moments in VR just chatting and laughing with people in the lobby before starting a game. It really brings back the feeling of game nights with friends, but in a virtual space.
If you're looking for a fun, casual, and social VR game, Table Party nails it. Highly recommend it if you enjoy multiplayer VR with a great vibe!
This VR game is perfect for entertaining guests! Its intuitive controls make it feel as natural as playing a board game in real life, allowing even first-time VR users to adapt quickly. With a motion sickness-free movement system and the ability to play comfortably while seated, it's ideal for both VR novices and experienced players to enjoy together.
The game boasts a fantastic variety of options, from globally renowned board games to traditional Asian folk games, offering excellent content volume. For users who might feel pressured by competitive multiplayer, the option to play solo is also a great plus.
I have one suggestion: for those who prefer solo play, it would be wonderful if there were interactive AI opponents. Imagine being able to converse with the AI while playing—much like the real-time voice interactions seen in many modern apps utilizing AI. This would significantly enhance the solo experience!
