A truly epic Megaman style Platformer!

If you have a love of classic platformers and want to experience that in VR this is definitely a game worth your time! It brings the classic megaman challenge to first person and makes you feel insanely immersed!

Also, many of the painful elements that made you wanna knock yourself out were improved in this game like checkpoints!

I don't like it.

The game is terrible, and the soulless AI-generated intro is the highlight. It feels like you should be paid to play this.

It’s a hard game and is definitely not for everyone. Sorry you did not like it. Maybe the challenge was a bit too much for you?

Too bad

Read the 5 star ratings, so bought the game in a great discount but I don't understand the hype. I'm 43, like to play oldscool games like Heroes 3, Fallout 1 & 2, but here I just can't find any artistic value. The best part of the game was the AI generated intro. After that rubbish textures, rubbish effects and so on.
I deleted it after 10 minutes. Fortunately bought it for 1$ and not like 10 or what was the original price.
Also don't understand the 3.6GB space requirements, looks like some unoptimalization too.

Promising Game but Hampered by Its Flaws

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. As a left-handed player, the lack of options to customize the controls was a huge obstacle. The inability to change the movement joystick makes the gameplay frustrating. Additionally, there are no options to switch from snap rotation to smooth rotation, which is a standard in VR games.

Air control when jumping is nearly nonexistent, leading to a lack of mastery over movements in a VR platformer where fluidity is essential. AI-controlled enemies are equally disappointing, charging straight at you while shooting, making combat repetitive. You quickly find yourself flailing in all directions to avoid shots without falling off the platforms, which becomes exhausting. The teleporting enemies could benefit from a visual effect to better signal their movement.

The level design is poor, with some effort made to create an atmosphere through decent 3D models, but some textures lack coherence. The use of AI-generated images, which is otherwise quite well integrated into the game, could have helped address these issues.

The music is a matter of taste, but the lack of an option to turn it off is a downside, as it can quickly become repetitive.

The developer seems to be working on a third installment despite the glaring shortcomings of this game. Why rush into a sequel without refining the current experience?

In summary, this game seems to have been designed with limited quality standards, justifying its shortcomings by a desire to offer a challenge, but at the expense of accessibility, gameplay fluidity, and the overall experience. Despite its present potential, this title suffers from major flaws that, if addressed, could easily elevate it. Unfortunately, in its current state, it remains a frustrating, repetitive, and unfinished experience, with an uncertain future if these issues are not resolved before moving on to another sequel.

Sorry there are no left handed stick accommodations. You can definitely shoot and hold any weapon in your left hand. Also there is definitely an option to switch between snap and smooth turning just click in the right stick. Also there is definitely air control while platforming. The game features some of the best first person platforming VR has to offer. The levels are HUGE and super Cool not sure why you didn’t think so. 🤷‍♂️ I hope you play more and get to see all the levels and unlock some of the cool blasters. I’m sorry if the game was too hard for you or not your style, but it is a good game regardless! 🦾

Very cool shooting platformer

System Critical 2 is a nice follow-up to the incredibly difficult original. The worlds are huge and awe-inspiring, the enemies are ruthless, and the learning curve is very steep. The only notable drawback is the sound. I'm not a huge fan of the music and the sound effects could use a LOT of work, but this can be easily remedied by putting on some headphones with your own music. There's a ton of content for the price here, making it a must-add to the ol' library.
