Sword Battle is a strategy TD game. 500 years ago, five Guardians worked together to seal the evil dragon on the lava island. 500 years later, the dragon gradually woke up, and the world once again fell into crisis. You, as the Commander of the Silver Knights, are endowed with the spells and skills of the Guardians. You can break through the casual mode to practice your skills, or you can challenge the dragon boss and fight to the death!

What happened?
Update: I used to love this game. Wtf happened? Stress free levels? I can’t ever win the first level
The other ones? The difficulty has increased and a boss level happens way too soon and I can never get past the first boss. What a shame.
I liked playing this game for some somewhat mindless fun and now it’s too difficult for me to enjoy: maybe I’m too stupid now for this game but it was perfect before this.
My guess is someone complained it was too easy and got in the devs head and ruined it for the rest of us who liked it as is. Shame

I love tower defenders on mobile so this was a no brainer. In VR it’s amazing!! Can’t wait to see what happens with the updates.

This game is awesome! It's definitely difficult, which I like. It's very intuitive, the controls work very well, and the visuals are quite nice. There is no story, but excellent, short level of intense tower defense gameplay. The price is definitely right for this style of game. It will for sure keep you invested for a good few hours trying to master the right combination of cards and soldiers!

I dont know what this genre is called but its not "Tower Defense".
Its a swarm based strategy game (similar to Risk) where everything is about managing & sending troops between towers.
What makes this game so much better than many others is that they add a roguelike progression system with Spell/Tower Upgrades which can be used to impact the tide of the matches.
This game is a MUST BUY if you like this kind of genre
Oddly compelling
This is a 'tower defense' game in the loosest definition. You point at one tower, hold, and point at another tower. Then you get control of that tower, and repeat. You can also unlock a variety of card-based abilities. It's actually very pleasant, a bit hypnotic, and trundles along nicely.
But it also lacks some very basic TD staples, like genuine progression and variety of stages, enemies and live upgrades. There's very little explanation of what towers do what, so you don't really understand why you should upgrade one over another.
In any case, I like it. It isn't a proper TD game (Captain Toonhead is and is great) but this is something different. Still strategic, good but not great. I'll keep playing it as it's an enjoyable loop.
God Like Tactical RPG
Tower Defender VR is an amazing looking God like table top tower defense game. It has tactical RPG and roguelike elements, mixed in with strategy gameplay. You get to choose one of five heroes to play as. You will not only be guiding your troops on where to attack next, you will also be using cards to cast spells down upon your enemies like a God.
The world you are immersed into is just beautiful and alive. Just the menu screen along was breath taking and had a lot to explore. The room in which you do battle in really gives you a God like feel as you move around over the game table. The controls are very easy to move around and will not cause any motion sickness. You can also use room scaling and just walk around if you have the space. The combat was easy to pick up and use. Casting spells down on your enemies just feels empowering. Special when you ran down fire or use a giant hammer to smash the enemy castles. Each Hero will have a different set of skill cards to use, so no two heroes are alike. You need to strategically direct your troops to attack, to gain ground and hold it. You will use your God like powers to aid them in their battle.
There are two modes of play, casual and survival mode. In casual you will play endless generated maps. This is nice and relaxing and very addictive. Survival mode you will embark on a journey and also battle bosses. This is one of the best VR tower defense games I have play. Its very immersive and empowering, and gives you a great VR gaming experience.
If you are into tower defense games, or tactical RPGs and enjoy God like gameplay. You will not want to miss this title.
