Delightful high quality polished game
I bought this game during the flash sale only to support the developers because I think their Match 3 game is wonderful - and WOW this game is so nice looking and polished! I really loved the story telling with the book and popup 2d graphics. Despite the joyful cute graphics playing the game on normal difficulty was challenging but there's a setting to change it to easy. Reloading your gun is easy you grab a ball of jelly and put it in your gun, I found it was helpful to keep a ball of jelly in my hand so when I was out of ammo I could immediately reload, then count to 5 before grabbing the next one. There's a progression system so as you earn coins you can unlock better weapons. There's a cute arcade machine where you have to press the buttons using your hands. So many quest games feel a bit janky at times but this was smooth... great fun to play seated!
Sweet and fun!
The atmosphere in Sugar Mess is absolutely charming, with a beautifully stylized environment that pulls you right into its colourful world. It's clear that a lot of thought and love went into the story. Everything feels carefully crafted and wonderfully imaginative. The rhythm-based levels were my favorite part by far. Smashing objects to the beat of the music was incredibly fun and satisfying:D I also really appreciated the excellent Czech translation.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a joyful VR adventure!

I really enjoyed Sugar Mess! The bright, fun graphics and fairy-tale world made it feel like I was inside a cartoon. The shooting levels were a good mix of action and humor. It’s perfect for short play sessions, especially if you like arcade-style games with a playful twist.

I wouldn’t have imagined this game would get me so hooked! The animations are fantastic, the storytelling and table view are both interesting and beautifully designed, and the playability is top-notch. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, the pacing of the enemies—which keeps you engaged and striving to do your best—and the overall smoothness of the game. Absolutely perfect!
