I am so glad I took a chance on Squingle. This has quickly become one of my favorite ways to relax. The visuals are stunning and I love being able to play in mixed reality too. Definitely check this one out.
Trippy unique puzzle game. The graphics are even better than the videos show, you can set it for mixed reality with cool effects on your walls, or full vr that teleports you to a different dimension. The controls are really smooth and precise. I like the vibe this game has with the psychedelic puzzle god guiding you on the journey. Cant wait to see what other games this dev outs out
I met Ben briefly at breaking convention and had the immense pleasure of trying Squingle. I have to say it planted a seed in my mind and nearly a year later I’ve finally managed to get around to buying a quest 2, and of course squingle was my first software purchase. I’ve been having so much fun on it and am blown away by everything it offers! So much thought has clearly gone into every aspect from aesthetics to game mechanics to the options and settings that can drastically alter the play experience.
Thank you Ben for creating something so fun and beautiful! There needs to be more games with such a chilled out, beautiful and psychedelic vibe!!
This game can be played in mixed reality, but I loved playing it fully immersed. It is a progressively challenging and *unique* puzzle game in a gorgeous environment with relaxing music and sounds and a soothing voice guiding players. I am not sure how I was so relaxed, yet so focused at the same time.
I also played the mini version (and liked it) and this one is just next level.
This puzzle game is super simple to learn, and very hard to master. The premise is simple, In mixed reality there is a maze of sorts in front of you, using the trigger you grab a sphere or the center of spheres and try to guide them through a translucent maze to the goal without hitting the sides. This idea is simple and the game does a really good job starting you off with basic levels to guide you. They are easy but do not let this fool you, as you play more mechanics and objects are slowly introduced to ramp up the difficulty and keep you engaged in gameplay.
The art style and sounds in this game are amazing. You can play in mixed reality, but still see plenty of trippy beautiful designs and artwork. The guide, a giant head that talks to you is also helpful and calming. This is a puzzle game and the same for any puzzle game of this type can be applied, you get lost in this by focusing on trying to figure out how to smoothly complete each maze and maximize your points. I find this game incredibly relaxing and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing puzzle game that has a lot of challenging elements to it
