Brilliant
This includes 21 intro levels, which can be easily finished in 20 minutes, but improving your performance can take maybe an hour. Full game is 100 (harder) levels. Very well designed gameplay. Very polished. Very shiny. You can easily play for a few minutes at a time.
In this game, you navigate a tubular, three-dimensional maze that can also be played in mixed reality. You can use your controller to change the maze's position in your space. The goal is to guide your orb from start to finish without touching the walls, while collecting dots scattered throughout the maze. As the game progresses, the levels become more complex, requiring “spatial” thinking. Additionally, there are multiple orbs spinning, checkpoints, and other orbs that can change the rotation of your own orb. At the end of each level, you get a score based on how many dots you collected and how little you touched the walls (represented by leaves). Touch the walls too much, and you lose one of your three leaves. Touch them even more, and you’ll go back to the start or your latest checkpoint. This is explained clearly with a voice guiding you at the start. For competitive players, there is a leaderboard that tracks your time and compares it to other players.
The game is really as simple as described above. This simplicity, along with the relaxing music, makes it one of the most relaxing games I have played recently. At the time of writing this review, I have completed the first 20 levels and the bonus one. I really hope the rest of the levels in the full version are as challenging —and even more so— than the bonus one.
However, I think this should be a trial version of the game so people are more incentivised to buy the full game.
Cheap way to see if you'd like the full game, this demo gives a solid hour or so of fun. Quite polished, didn't experience any bugs in my time with it, and a fun game to mini-speedrun. I would appreciate if there were individual level leaderboards though, rather than only a full game one, but that's not enough for me to take off a star, excellent stuff!
I know this game is like a demo for the main game and doesn't have all the features, but for "mini game" it's good and wish that when using mixed reality mode to change the colour like make it blue and purple or something like that and have each controller be a squiggle but we'll have to wait and see
This puzzle game serves as an excellent introduction to Squingle and offers a good amount of content. In Squingle, your objective is to guide small balls through various levels without making contact with the walls. The game provides approximately 1 to 2 hours of gameplay, depending on your skill level, and includes some bonus levels as well. You can enjoy the game in mixed reality (MR) mode at home or in virtual reality (VR) mode set in a peaceful galaxy. If you're a fan of puzzle games, then this game is perfect for you.
