The game has great atmosphere and I like that I can play from a seated position. It seems like upgrades are locked behind a license / progression limit, which is fine to an extent but if I want to grind lower level missions to out-level main content I think that should be an option.
The primary issue I have is that the controls are all or nothing between thumb-sticks and grip for throttle and yoke. Throttle locks at the last position when you let go in grip mode, which I usually don't want. Hitting a button before release to lock would be nice, or even allowing grip yoke and stick throttle would be nice. As it is, if you enable thumb-sticks you can no longer grasp the yoke or the throttle. It's a lot of preferences to set up, but allowing players to customize the controls more precisely would go a long way toward eliminating the frustrating aspects of an otherwise enjoyable game.
Nice but way too much expensive for so tiny contents. Pitty...
Game had me for a second, then I had to fight the terrible controls in regards to using the "lasso" thing to move things. Maps a small and repetitive.
On a positive note it's not buggy and looks decent.
If you’re expecting Hardspace Shipbreaker in VR you’re going to be disappointed. If you’re expecting an arcade style space job simulator with basic flight mechanics, basic combat, and a tongue in cheek story, you’ll have a good time.
I was think that I'm immune to motion sickness VR but that game makes me really non comfort. Tried to play few missions but i wasnt able fly too long without break.
I like most of the controls even though it can be a bit clunky, but the combat doesn't feel good with the limited rotation of the main laser and the annoying to use railgun. I feel like sometimes the game fails to tell you important information (such as the threat of rockets in the tower construction level), and that the mission where you need to defend a cargo ship is an unwarranted and unfair difficulty spike. I really don't want to have to grind out attempts of that mission but any further progress is locked behind it and I'm starting to wish I could turn off the ship voice.
