Dragon Bytes Update 01
You asked and we listened! The two most common points of feedback we received from the VR community were the short length and the lack of variety.
We’re proud to announce the first of the free Dragon Bytes updates for Space Dragon, one of many we have planned to expand and improve the game in multiple ways.
Here are just a few of the things we’ve introduced:
- A major overall performance boost and visual updates
- New weapons for the AI enemies, including guided missiles, tracking lasers, and more!
- New level events and points of interest
- More bullet hell. MORE.
- Updated boss fights
- Additional level content leading up to the bosses
This is just the first of a series of updates coming to Space Dragon in 2023 and beyond.
Thank you all for your continued support!

This game is still clearly in its developmental stages, but it is very good in its current state and yet still has room for potential. The premise seems bizarre - if not downright silly - but somehow it works. There's just something so addictive about it. The flight mechanics, freedom of movement and universe scale are the keys to playability, as well as the variation in missions and gameplay. The only thing this game needs is more content. Even with a meaty recent update, it's still a fairly short game. This hidden gem fully deserves its sky-high ratings, but I hope the devs give us more.

I really like this! The open space gives so nice freedom feeling, the dragons are cute, and the action is fun! I'd recommend this:
- Include more ambient sounds, like dragon noises and roars, digitised voices etc so you feel more immersed in the game.
- You could use one of the pad buttons to create a temporary shield for each dragon, and the other one to charge a super devastating beam, that would be superb.
- Would be GREAT to fly over frozen, stormy or lava planets, entering caves and exploring them a bit. That exploration of space and action mix would be trully awesome!
Thanks and lot and keep updating this great idea!
Cheers ;-)
New to this whole quest 3 thing and I just gotta say the graphics on this game are out of this world!!

A cool little vr game that feels like playing with space toys. Controls are pretty fluent, very clear shmup influences and the designs of everything are nice. Overall for the price and current states its a nice and quick game to pop into for an hour.
This game was alot of fun and for a flying type game was very comfortable. The controls were intuitive, I only wish I could warp and shoot at the same time. The tutorial was good however I still found myself confused as to where I was supposed to go at first and what to do but once I figured it out was very fun. I think this is a good game for any age because the controls are easy to learn your hands are dragons just point them where you want to go.
Hope to see some more levels in the future.
I am enjoying this title, one big appeal is the unconstrained ability to move in any direction, especially when combined with combat. It's a dynamic well suited to VR, but is still properly explored by far too few games. Likewise, the mega fauna graphics look great in 3D.
Great game and look forward to following it further.
