good for weapons and 3d

i like the game, primarily for the weapons that set it apart from other rhythm games. the staff is the most unusual (well phasers also but i find that hard to play). the problem though is that the rotate didn't work, despite developers saying how to do it. this wouldn't be a problem but the default orientation is also 180 degrees from natural. so you have to play with Palm up instead of palm down, and that means you have no natural rotation further right. please fix!!!!! and I'll add back the last star.

the 3d is interesting as well but so far i don't like it as much as synth. it needs to move faster. but i do like that it's angle gets higher than synth or holopoint.

i also like that it ranks you against all players of all time.

Good game

I really enjoy the game keeps you moving. It would be nice if there were a few more up to date songs though. It doesn't matter though I will keep playing the game. Thank you.

An abandoned App Lab gem

Great game with a few glaring faults that the developers never addressed:
Some targets get blocked behind each other so playing on difficulties above Hard (and it happens there too) is very frustrating.

They added a fitness option which again could have been great, but once again, they built it out so the targets are often obscured. In competitive rhythm games, I can see all the crazy, but a workout should be difficult by virtue of the elements of the workout, not purposefully making it impossible to see what's coming.

I still recommend the game and think with some better polish, it could have wound up in the proper app store, but at this point I wouldn't expect any updates or responses from the devs as it seems they've decided to just let the game languish.

Great option for custom tracks

I had bought the original release for the Rift and only used it tethered. So after a few years not playing, I decided to purchase the app for my kids Quests. They love it and Dad still remembered how to add custom songs so they are rocking out to their songs while having a little fun. Great App.

Almost Perfect

Been using SongBeater for a long time now, it's truly amazing for intense cardio workouts. I'd give it 5 stars if they would make it easy to use custom songs. Another fitness app I use, PowerbeatsVR for instance makes it so easy to use your own music. Just drop mp3 files on a folder and you're good to go. With SongBeater, I've been trying to figure out how to use custom music to no avail. I think you're suppose to convert them first, but the process seems complicated and can't get them to work. SongBeater is more fun than PowerBeats, but I always go back to and prefer PowerBeats because I can listen to any artist that I want. To the Developers: If there is a way to add a feature to use custom mp3's or ogg's easily, please do it. This is the only thing missing in your app to make it truly great in my opinion.
