Just try it! It's an amazing game, and I'm truly looking forward how this game grows! Greetings from the Netherlands.
I’d like to think im fairly opened minded when it comes to different gaming experience but this one i just couldnt vibe with.
I wasted minutes fighting the “main boss” in the introduction just to fight out after finally dying that i was never meant to win! 🤨
$24.99 price tag and no voice actors?! Ive played many games, a quarter of the price, that had some pretty good voice acting. In the absense if a void actor, i would have made exception if the stript was great. But the texts from character you’re playing as, “the invincible”, was anything but crude and kindof cringey.
Sometimes, i’d also randomly lose a round from taking one hit! 😑
Furthermore, the visual quality, particularly the element energy casts, seem very subpar in comparison to a host of other games around the same price tag.
The jumping in mid air and being able to slap seems pretty nifty but besides that, and slap combos, the physical fighting is pretty basic..
Unfortunately not my cup of tea but hopefully someone else can enjoy this.
There is a story mode and a multi-player fight mode. Its stand up only and uses your real height so hopefully this will prevent being bombarded by annoying 5 year olds like most games. I just started and am excited to play a great game while getting a good workout.
I got to cosplay Will Smith for a little bit. Cool gameplay and I vibe with the graphics.
The combat dynamics in this game are a masterpiece, utilizing realistic ragdoll physics that make every single blow feel powerful and satisfying. With graphics straight out of a comic book and a highly atmospheric soundtrack, you are transported directly into the middle of the action for a truly immersive experience where fighting is less a sequence of moves and more a cinematic show.
Love the art style in the game… like a bright, neon cartoon look to it… comic book style.
You go through a tutorial, before taking on each of the 10 Slap Syndicate mini bosses, working your way up to the big boss!
You learn how to slap, block and use elements to defeat your enemies.
Each enemy you defeat, you take a new element from, to help you use against the next enemies.
Also defeating each enemy, you get to equip their gloves as a cosmetic for your character.
The fights take place in circle arenas, where you throw slaps, combo slaps, dodge, block and throw the elements you learn at your opponent.
There is also a multiplayer arena, if you fancy slapping silly some real human opponents!
The sounds are decent and it has a very interesting story to follow too, which is also recorded down in a book at your base.
It gives a good work out… well it worked up a sweat in me lol
