Hail to you, Slayer!

The world needs your problem-solving skill and attention to detail to vanquish vampires before a ritual for global domination is complete.

Will you embark on this mythic quest?

In this immersive tactical stealth vampire slaying game, your mission is to persevere through carefully laid traps and puzzles, and by disarming the vampire coffins’ defenses, your victory will be destroying a clan of powerful sleeping vampires.

Your guide? A mystical book. Your tools? From pry bars and clippers, to a hook made from finger bone and a wooden stake, there is plenty of challenge and reward throughout your conquest.

Driven by curiosity and exploration, the victorious vampire slayers are cautious enough to remove nails and wires to get to the vampire’s heart. Be silent, and be precise, and you will overpower these slumbering beasts.

Focus! You can leave Castle Zar in waste if you:

Observe the Vicious Vampires – Swiftly and precisely seal the fate of this royal clan

Disable the Defenses – A steady hand will untangle imposing and intricate traps

Master Your Tools – Use unique instruments as you encounter increasingly difficult puzzles and situations

Betray the Distractions – Conquer the diversions that the vampires devised to unsettle the bravest of slayers

Uncover the Story – Learn the secrets of Castle Zar, the vampires you encounter, and more

Annihilate them, Slayer!

Excellent!

This was great! Love the mechanics of it, the story, the book’s voice, all the creepy sounds, the graphics, and the skill puzzles. So much fun. I love Schell games! More, more, want more!

Fun game that could use a few tweaks

Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire is a fun puzzle game with some entertaining mechanics, a great sense of atmosphere and a few quirks that can get irritating after a while.

First and foremost the premise and gameplay is great, a perfect use of VR's strengths such as immersion and satisfying hand manipulations.

There are a few things that bother me a bit though:

1. When using tools such as the pry bar or the snippers, it would feel better and more natural to use the trigger button on the controller rather than the X or A button to perform the action.

2. When holding/using an object or opening the coffin, your hand disappears which is always a bit immersion breaking to me.

3. When snipping the wires that can criss-cross in front of the vampire, the stereoscopic effect sometimes seems to be off a bit, causing me to accidentally touch the wire instead.

4. After the 4th or 5th vampire, finding the sweet spot with the heart becomes much, much harder and it seems the slightest slip up wakes the vampire. I understand the need to gradually make each encounter harder but I think the curve could be a bit less steep (or maybe introduce difficulty levels).

Regardless, this is a fun game and I'm looking forward to getting back to it and sinking my teeth into it (haha).

A few DLCs with classic vampires like Bela Lugosi or Christopher Lee might be fun to explore down the road.

Not really a puzzle game

Just a skill game of doing things boringly slow. Not a single interesting puzzle.
