Loved it!
Absolutely loved this game, would definitely recommend it. Was challenging yet not so difficult I lost interest. I loved the mixed reality and effects. The story was engaging unravelling piece by piece. Definitely worth the money!
Was suprised how good it was
If you like puzzles or escape rooms, this game is for you. The mixed reality is perfect. The puzzles are creative and the game was a wonderful surprise. I’m only through 4 puzzles but loved every one so far. Hope they make another game like this or get add ons. I’ll buy every add on for sure
buggy and annoying
Look, the premise is awesome. I really like the mixed reality approach here.
But the game is over-reliant on cheap jumpscares, the puzzles can be a bit obtuse, the physics constantly misbehaves sending objects flying across the room, and most importantly - there are no save files within a chapter. Which wouldn't be a problen if I didn't hit a softlock bug on a level exit door in the brain probe level. I ain't replaying this again, sorry.
Stunning
The only reason this gets 4 stars is because it is a bit glitchy. Otherwise, it is absolutely amazing and the most incredible experience using a Quest headset that I have found. Mixed reality is nothing that interested me until I played this. The price is ridiculously low for the many hours of playtime that I had. The puzzles are very tricky but I was able to work out most of them. It was frustrating to find that after a long time searching for an alternative soltion to a puzzle than one I had already tried, I would find I was right in the first place! It was simply a glitchy way I hadn't held or pressed something that meant it hadn't registered properly. Anyway, I didn't want the game to end. I think the door is open for a sequel and I would be quick to snap it up. I searched for more games by Playside Studios but didn't find anthing for the Quest that interested me. Hope they make more puzzle-type games soon.
One of the best VR games I have played
WORTH THE BUY..... Not sure how much I have left of the game at the time of writing this but it really plays with your mind this game with its puzzles and what not and having to bring things in from a virtual world to place in your own play space in pass through to interact with them, I sometimes forget im on VR and pull the headset off and think where has that object gone or being careful not to trip over the torch when it's on the floor haha.
PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE TYPE OF GAMES!
I am only through the first two chapters but from the very get go this game gave me chills.
This game is so unique and EXACTLY what we need in MR. The graphics look great (even if character models are a bit mediocre), the interactions and puzzles so far are hard but fair, and the story is amazing so far... very dark and adult.
PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE PLAYSIDE STUDIOS!!! You have found your gold mine for sure in this, if you can throw out more of these games I would 100% play them all.
