Influenced by the writings of Carl Gustav Jung, Selina: Mind at Large is offering a unique and imaginative perspective into the mind of a child. Are you prepared to help Selina and push back against the sinister Aniles and her shadows?
“Selina: Mind at Large attempts one of the most challenging tasks a game can achieve: transporting you into the shoes of a child. ... you return to feeling like a child yourself, in wonder for the gravity-changing hijinks that ensue, and the personal struggles underneath.. Isn’t that what we want in games?” - UploadVR

I haven't had a chance to really test much of the game yet. So far it reminds me a bit of Shadow Point somehow.
I look forward to play it more after the heatwave, even if I might still have to limit myself to shorter play sessions until I get used to it a bit again.
You'd think I have stronger VR legs after 8 years but here we are xD
The animation, the voice acting, the story, and gameplay are top notch.
Thank you for creating this masterpiece!
Was so excited until u throw in a boss fight right in middle of a puzzle game 🫤 and bubble disappearing when u need it the most so there is no way to move forward. I would pay for a skip boss level button at this point lol. Selina: Mind at Large is an immersive game that establishes a profound bond, as you take on the role of a hero tasked with assisting a young girl named Selina. The developers have crafted a compelling story that allows you to empathise with her mental health challenges and motivates you to assist her on her journey. Throughout the narrative, you’ll encounter a series of puzzles that begin simply but gradually introduce more complex elements, making them increasingly difficult as you navigate the task of directing water from one end of a path to the other, all while maneuvering through her lost memories. The team has cleverly utilised the perspective of a young mind to design these puzzles and environments, liberating you from the usual constraints of reality, such as gravity and conventional logic. Although the anti-gravity mechanics may feel disorienting and awkward at first, they ultimately provide a sense of freedom as you adapt. If you’re a fan of puzzle games, I would wholeheartedly recommend giving this one a try.
So far I've enjoyed what little I've experienced of the game. The narrative has yet to do anything that's captivated or drawn me in as of yet, but it's also not gotten in yhe way of me enjoying the context it's given for the world and gameplay, nor has it overstayed it's welcome by slowing the game down either.
The gsmeplay and puzzles themselves have each been very simplistic and have only taken seconds to figure out (and I'm hoping doing these same puzzles over & over through the entire game doesn't get old too quickly) still enjoyable enough (as well as I expect them to get a bit more thought provoking later since I'm only about an hour or so in). So difficulty hasn't quite shown itself in the slightest yet, but I'm not holding that against it as it's still doing what's most important to me- being enjoyable.
The movement mechanic is also good and I enjoy it's implementation enough, but it also doesn't add much to me in a world that's already mixed up. It also takes getting used to how fast you zip to your chosen location without getting disoriented (losing mind of where youvare at or which direction you are/ need to be facing). But overall, it's done very well.
Sound-wise, the music is absolutely enchanting and is great at drawing you into this world with it's somewhat whimsical, magical, soothing ambience it provides. It really adds a great deal to the experience, especially alongside the well done environments you play through. It's a great atmosphere to be immersed in that almost gives off a Wonderland-like feel and succeeds in it's child's imagination motife.
The voice acting itself is fine, though Selina herself is off putting at first sounding like a 20-something year old woman trying her best to sound like a young girl, which mixed with the script that has her talking like a kid (to varying degrees), it just comes off a touch odd until you get used to it. She does do well though and gives Selina the necessary amount of playful energy that still makes her enduring enough so far.
The only big issue I have with game so far is the forced 'Snap Turning' with no option for vsmooth Turning' at all... in 2025. This drives me crazy in any VR game and takes me out of it, but outside of that big blunder- the rest of the game is definitely an enchanting puzzler if you are looking for a relaxing escape to a more dream-like world.
I recommend buying it up if it looks the slightest bit interesting to you!
I’ve been exploring VR for about 6 months now, and while I’m not a fan of shooters, I absolutely love puzzle games and creative uses of virtual reality — and Selina - Mind at Large delivers exactly that. I played Selina on the Meta Quest 3, and it’s honestly one of the most memorable VR games I’ve experienced. The core mechanic is super innovative — you can tilt the entire world by 90 degrees, which changes not only your view but also the physics and gravity. It makes for some really creative puzzles and moments where you feel like you're bending reality itself.
But what truly makes this game special is the story. You step into the world of Selina, a young girl struggling with deep trauma and fear after being forced away from home by dark forces. The shifting world reflects her inner turmoil, and as you explore and solve puzzles, you feel like you’re helping her piece herself back together.
The environments are beautifully crafted, and the whole experience feels incredibly immersive on the Quest 3. One small downside for me was the background music — it didn’t really stick with me or enhance the experience as much as I’d hoped. But honestly, that’s a minor thing compared to how powerful the rest of the game is. It’s actually feels not just like a game — it’s an emotional journey that sticks with you long after you take the headset off. If you’re looking for something unique, thoughtful, and visually stunning, I can’t recommend this enough.
