Despite me having loads of space in my room,it’s pot luck where the lift/plank is placed and sometimes it’s out of my boundary so the game cannot be played properly. It would be good if the lift and the plank could be placed where the player wants it like I have experienced on some other similar games. (Richie’s plank/walk the plank etc)
My next issue is the cat. When the stars align and the lift and plank are accessible, I just cannot seem to lift and save the cat. I’ve tried all sorts. I’ve seen other reviews have this similar issue, but eventually manage to get the knack. I still haven’t learnt this yet, and just end up flinging the cat off the plank which devastates me.
All in all, it’s a great concept, great visuals, I just hope the few issues I’ve mentioned above can be ironed out as currently this game is unplayable for me.
Save the Cat VR is a charming and heartwarming experience that blends light puzzle-solving with the joy of immersive interaction. The concept is simple yet surprisingly engaging — find and rescue adorable cats scattered across a series of creative environments.
The physics feel natural and responsive, making it easy to reach, climb, and carry your rescued feline friends. The collection of the cat initially seems impossible, but after a while it makes sense! Maybe this can be tweaked. The different levels in VR mode offer a nice variety of scenarios, ensuring that gameplay stays fun and never repetitive. Hopefully more levels to come.
One suggestion for improvement would be in XR mode: it would be great if the “Congratulations” message appeared after a short delay. That would give players time to gently place the cat down into their real-world surroundings before the game concludes — a small change that would make the mixed re my ality experience feel even more immersive and satisfying.
Overall, Save the Cat VR is a delightful mix of warmth, creativity, and clever level design that truly shines in virtual reality.
Game has great potential
The game is so fun to play with your family and people that hasn’t tied vr yet I very recommend it
Fun game for friends. Had friends over and some people were like it’s just a game and then they get up there and can’t do it cause they scared is hilarious. Plank on the top of the city go an see if u brave enough to walk over and save the cat. Good time. Good game.
Stepping onto the plank to save a cat sounds simple but it's not. The height sells the illusion, palms get sweaty, and the cat’s reactions are adorably rewarding when you reach it. I love the Mixed reality mode adds a fu. Content is light for now and could use polish, but as a quick challenge for friends and family, it absolutely does the job.
Pay attention - you need space for this game!
Cool game
