A super underrated gem in the vr library

This game is super underrated. To think that this game has not received an update for 3 years kind of bums me out. Fortunately I guess I can just act like the game is finished because no recent activity can be found because the last update was in 2022. Also I haven’t ever ran into any issues with the game so that’s good.

I’ve played many strategy games in vr, a lot of them are certainly fun to play, none of them really take advantage of the fact that you’re literally IN THE GAME’S WORLD… except maybe BattleGroupVR… and of course, rogue fight. Also known as Attack on King Reloaded.

Anyway, what is the game about? Well you are a single king and you have to shoot at the king in order to win the round. This is very much a roguelike, meaning you can win a round and get an upgrade… with a twist! You select an upgrade but you also have to give the enemy pieces a curveball such as, you get increased firepower but the enemy army gets a queen for example.

At first I played the game on normal and figured “this game is just too easy! You put all of these pawns in front of me for NO REASON because the king just dies.” UNTIL I FIGURED OUT THAT YOU NEED TO WIN WITHOUT GETTING HIT ONCE.

On top of that, the boss that appears in each difficulty is a MASSIVE piece that’s like 20 feet tall and he’s really difficult to kill because he has so much health. If you thought the queen piece was overpowered… this boss piece is dreadful. I haven’t seen what he could do when I get too close… but oh god.

I paid $5 for this game because of the quest plus subscription thing, I wouldn’t mind paying $10 because it is worth every penny.

Love the game and super unique!

Great game! Love the concept. I know it's been a long time since you released it, but it would be amazing to have an infinite mode! Either way great job!
