It has a lot of potential.

I really want to like this game, but it has some fundamental issues. First and foremost is controls, they are the most aggravating part of this game. It takes me 6 tries to draw my shotgun, 3 tries to actually register a pump, and if you drop it there's no picking it back up. You have to wait for it to despawn and then redraw it. Using a pistol is no easier, the only consistent way I've been able to reload my pistol is to smack my hand against my chest, and the aim seems severely off. Oh and the holsters are random, doesn't matter which side I reach for, I have a 50/50 chance of drawing either gun I have equipped.

Content: A large portion of the game is currently locked behind social activities, which are hard to do with such a low player count. You need more fun solo material for people to enjoy while they wait for the population count to rise. The only thing I was able to do was shoot some zombies, all other enemies are bullet sponges that one shot me. There's an NPC on the dead wave map that gives quests, but there's no way to complete them. There's very little loot I was able to access, none of it felt like an upgrade (Pistol does 20 damage, shotgun does 25? Where's all the melee weapons I saw in the trailer?), and I can't figure out where to spend the in game currency. Several of the maps, while pretty, are completely devoid of objects, NPCs, enemies or really anything to interact with.

This could be so much better....

1. There are no creating tools as of yet nor any way to get them. Therefore the "creator tools" tab at the start menu is effectively useless.

2. The XP/Skills gain system is not well documented (if there is documentation I haven't found it) or developed. There is no clear way on how one is to select or assign skills. Nor is there ANY documentation on this subject.

3. Documentation is sparse at best. This includes item and gear acquisition, places to grind mobs, how to edit items, skills/XP, and proper avatar use (what happens when you drop a weapon? How do you properly holster a weapon? How do you put stuff in your inv etc?). None of this is documented.

Rift has dozens of user made mods, levels and avatars but most are only half done. This game has so much potential but it needs so much work to be a real functional platform for user generated content.

What I've been wanting...Kinda

I wanted this game to feel like ready player one but it still has a lot of missing stuff also the graphics don't make me feel immersed into it. There are some bugs like sometimes nobody can hear me or the blue hand doesn't appear when I try to pick things up
