Amazing experience

I really liked the atmosphere of the game and the simple but special graphics crowned by the music. It requires little skill compared to Thumper. It's not too long and you can complete any level on the first or second try. But you can go on a wonderful journey in it. It reminded me of the retro atmosphere of old games. It's definitely worth it on sale.

An iconic game with a killer soundtrack

Rez is a classic, and being able to play it in VR is mindblowing. It is impressively immersive, and tries its best to not make you motion sick. Area X is a cool expansion of the original Rez formula.

A delightful blast from the past

I used to play Rez on the PS2, Trance Vibrator and all. This took me back. 9 out of 10. Perfection would be a better 3D effect and fixing the weapons lock speed to match the beat like than the original. I’ll round up for you.

Devs: let’s see Child of Eden next, OK?

Thanks for all the delightful PLURy nostalgia.

Wow

This is exactly why I've always loved Sega during the era of arcade games and the Dreamcast. It's an amazing experiment when you play a game without even understanding what you are doing and why, and yet you can't stop. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves an unusual, new experience.

⚡️25% OFF - A Mesmerizing Journey ✨

Rez Infinite is a mesmerizing blend of visual art and music, creating an immersive experience that’s hard to forget. Playing it on the Quest 3 elevates this experience with its enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay, bringing the abstract world of Rez to life in a way that feels almost tangible.

The game’s greatest strength lies in its ability to transport you into its unique digital universe. The sensory overload of vibrant colors and electronic music, paired with the Quest 3’s improved performance, makes for an enthralling experience. Each level unfolds like a living, breathing piece of art, pulsating to the rhythm of the soundtrack.

However, Rez Infinite is not without its flaws. The gameplay, while intuitive, can feel repetitive after extended sessions. The on-rails shooter format, although a classic, might not appeal to those seeking more interactive or complex gameplay mechanics. Additionally, while the visuals are stunning, they can be overwhelming, especially for those prone to sensory overload.

Would I recommend Rez Infinite? Absolutely, especially for those who appreciate a unique blend of music, art, and gaming. It’s an experience that transcends traditional gaming, offering a hypnotic escape into a digital wonderland. While it might not be for everyone, its artistic approach and enhanced performance on the Quest 3 make it a standout title in the VR space.

Rez is made for VR, Even though it wasnt

Been a big fan of Rez since buying it day 1 on the dreamcast, was always such a vibe and really felt ahead of its time... And this VR version proves it, as it feels like it was made with VR in mind.

The only way to explain Rez is its an on rails shooter, you aim and lock on to enemies and incoming projectiles, release and you fire to the beat of the amazing music.
Speaking of music, it's a big part of the game, and it ramps up as you progress through the levels before you take on a boss.

It's just an experience being in the rez world, zooming through as the wire frame world slides and spins around you.
Play with headphones on, and get in there!

Crazy to think this game is over 20 years old, and this VR version is so faithful to the original.

Experiences like this is what VR is for.
Get it.
