If you're looking for a new addiction, Sing is the game for you! I was super excited to try this game because it looked like a new and fun way to experience VR, and an experience it was!
Sing really did bring out some happy energy, being able to sing the lyrics to songs I love and always wanted to sing out loud, brought a heavy sense of joy and being able to sing and bang the "drums" made it an even greater experience; especially after a long day - which I did have!
All in all, I had to give this game a 5 star rating based of the initial concept, gameplay, song selection and overall awesomeness of this game, Sing! Its a must have and I can imagine this being a hit at a party of any sort.
Quite simply, it's a virtual karaoke machine. It's a great way to sing your heart out in the comfort of your own room, and it is nice that there is a decently sized tracklist for you to try out with different genres. The game is definitely centered around singing, but offers other ways to play, with drums and a paintbrush. Sadly I was quite disappointed with drums, as someone who loves drums, they felt quite weak and had no impact in any of the songs I played. While the latter two other tools are not flushed out as much, they can still provide a good experience if you can immerse youself in it enough. My main issue with the game is the subscription service. The game is clearly meant only for paying users, as free players get 30-second sections of random songs only. I feel like a free player should get access to at least 1 full song, as everyone just deserves to at least try the experience of one song. I would also love another tier of purchase, a flat one-time fee for the game, and maybe you could only get a random selection of a few full songs a week, but a better option for people who do not prefer subscription-based purchases. Overall, it's a simple game that knows what it is, and I think it is a game you can't go wrong with if you enjoy singing.
This is a karaoke game! You can actually sing along and it will show lyrics for whatever song you are playing! I'm not a singer, but you can comfortably sing this without anyone watching because I am a bad singer lol. It would be nice if the drum set produces sounds to play along with the music you are singing. For people who don't subscribe, there should be an option for free songs instead of just a bunch of short demo. Free songs can be limited Hopefully as a starter before subscribing. Anyway, highly recommended!
This game is awesome! It would 100% help someone if they needed to improve their singing, and it’s great for casuals also. The song selection is decent, and it’s fun and interesting.
The one downside that I have for this game is that if someone tries to play a song that they don’t know/haven’t heard before it’s difficult to sing along. Otherwise, I 100% would recommend this game to anyone.
This is a fun little karaoke app. There is a good range of nostalgic classics and new hits for you to rock out to. If you love music, it’s a lot of fun!
My biggest downside is that I don’t love subscription apps, but having mainstream music is a huge draw, so I get it. The scoring can also be a bit weird, but this isn’t really a competitive game. It’s more a game to vibe out and enjoy music.
A big part of karaoke is the social aspect, so it’s a bit weird to do it by yourself at first, but it gives the same feeling of singing at the top of your lungs while driving around alone in your car.
This turns VR into a personal karaoke universe, and it works way better than expected. The first thing that stands out is the sheer size of the music library. No matter what mood you are in, it is easy to find something familiar and jump straight into a session
