one of the best experiences ive had in vr. Worth every penny
I finished the game without ever encountering game breaking bugs, a few annoying glitches here and there, but nothing drastic.
I recommend this game, great graphics, super cool parkour and nice level design :)
I just finished Reach recently and I just wanted to say that this game is one of the most fun experiences I've had in VR. As someone who enjoyed the climbing in Assassins Creed VR, this really takes it to the next level. There is something so similar to Metroid baked into the DNA of this game. I would love to see them take on a full proper metroidvania style game. I will absolutely buy whatever this company makes next. Only complaint was the the main character breathing sound effect got a little too much.
Message me if you want refer. link.
This game is incredible..it looks stunning, the parkour side of it just flows so brilliantly..im 3 hours in and not one glitch or jank..
Is this game of the year.?..
It's my game of the decade..
I've played all the top quest games out there, and yes,it's better than batman..
I was a huge fan of the first Mirror's Edge game back in the day and while VR always felt like a perfect fit for a parkouring adventure game, no game that attempted the formula was able to capture that feeling for me... until Reach came along, that is.
In short, this game is a lot of fun. The mechanics are clever, such as whistling for translations, edging yourself through narrow crevices, using a drone as a vine, and flinging yourself from ledge to ledge. The pacing is phenomenal and the puzzles and climbing sections are well designed so that once you settle into a groove and get some momentum going, the game is rewarding in much the same way as the classic Mirror's Edge was (and in some ways, Tomb Raider). It really scratches the same itch. I can see myself replaying it, too, as I'm enjoying it a lot.
That's not to say everything is perfect: there are some technical hiccups on the Quest 3 like asset streaming stutters, insufficient anti-aliasing, general performance issues etc and I did run into a soft-lock after the first hour due to a bug, however in spite of all this, it's still shaping up to be one of my top games this year.
