Fun, difficulty curve needs work

Updated 2/2/21

The game started off very enjoyable with a fair enough variety and tracks and game modes to keep one entertained. Though I would certainly wouldn’t turn down a multiplayer option.

I will say difficulty curve is a tad inconsistent and tier 3 tracks have proven more frustrating than fun unfortunately. Which is a shame because I’d love to see the new content they added. However they sadly locked it behind the next tier......and frankly I ended up giving up seeing the new content due to the roadblock in difficulty I hit.

Skip the motion controls they’re pretty much worthless in my opinion, extremely inferior to the standard ones and the twitch like reflexes the game seems to demand at higher tiers.

if you want a solo racing game grab it when it's on sale I'm not sure I'd recommend it at full price though.

I really like that this is a VR racer similar to WipEout, however, I really hate how I can’t turn off the music without also turning off the sound. How did the dev miss this?

Also, the whole concept of AG racing on a tube is bonkers to me, but I race here for the rush not the science.

Awesome

If you like Wipeout then this is it. My younger brother who's 54, has been a Wipeout fan from its original version on the Sony Ps1 days. He never like any of the clones of it. So I let him have my Quest over the weekend, while I'm working.

Got my Quest back and now he agrees with me that this game is better than Wipeout.

Outstanding gameplay

I was raised here in Orlando and one of my favorite rides as a child was "space mountain" it was a roller coaster in the dark with flashing multicolored lights and many twists, turns and dips. This is very similar, only u can control the pod and every now and then u leave the track! The music sounds like nine inch nails. Very fun.
