it felt just absolutely unplayable and just what I had in mind of that game was just the complete opposite. Would not recommend wasting your money on this game.

Needs Control Change.

It’s genuinely unplayable with how the grips are currently. If your right hand is holding on to the wheel and you hit brake with your left hand the your right hand will no longer be on the steering wheel anymore and you’ll never notice it. Why is the accelerate button the grip button? You’re forced to drive with your right hand because the right hand grips the wheel and it’s dominant in control. Oh yeah, I didn’t mention how there’s no difference between whether or not both your hands are on the wheel? Whatever trigger you’re currently pressing it the one that’s controlling the wheel. Why is it so that if I hit the trigger to grip the steering wheel and then hit the grip button, my hand is no longer on the wheel. Why is it so that if I grip the wheel then accelerate my hand is no longer holding the wheel? Why is it that in order to accelerate your RIGHT HAND SPECIFICALLY needs to be holding the wheel. Your game makes it impossible to even hold on to the wheel at all. If you’re holding on to the steering wheel with your right hand which you use to accelerate then hit trigger on your left hand you’re suddenly not holding the wheel on your right hand anymore. Why do either of the triggers even affect the grip at all? They should literally just move your car forwards and backwards. If you think I’m overreacting buy this garbage for yourself. I will keep this game in my collection because it was $5 when I bought and so that I can show my friends what a truly horrible driving game feels like.

Thank you for your incredibly detailed feedback—we sincerely apologize for the frustrating experience you described. You’re absolutely right: the grip and trigger mechanics were un-intuitive and poorly designed in earlier versions, especially the conflict between accelerating/braking and maintaining control of the steering wheel.

We’re happy to share that we’ve completely reworked this system in our latest update:

Triggers now ONLY control acceleration/braking and no longer interfere with grip.

Grip buttons are separate from driving inputs, so your hands stay firmly on the wheel unless you intentionally release them.

Both hands now function independently, allowing true two-handed steering without unexpected disconnects.

This overhaul addresses the issues you raised (e.g., hands detaching unintentionally, right-hand dominance conflicts, and confusing trigger/grip overlap). We’d love for you to try the updated version and see if it resolves your concerns. Your specific insights were invaluable in guiding these fixes!

As an early access title, we’re committed to refining the game daily. If the changes improve your experience, we’d be grateful if you could consider revising your review to reflect the updates. Either way, please share your thoughts with us at rebelsgamestudio@gmail.com—we’re eager to hear your verdict.

Thank you for giving us a chance to make things right. We’re determined to turn this into a game you’ll want to showcase for all the right reasons.
