OK for free game, could use fine tuning

Graphics and menus had a decent aesthetic overall - especially for a free game!

Stopped playing after 4 levels though due to control issues.

The angle on the swords felt slightly off. I kept having to strain my wrist too far forward to get a nice clean downward strike. Giving it a bit more of a forward tilt or, even better, the option to adjust the angle of the swords coming out of the controllers would be fantastic.

The reloading was really unintuitive. Seemed like I needed to fully empty the clip to reload, and then the reload triggering was unreliable. Having a button or motion to empty the clip and allow for reload (like Zombieland) would be a welcome improvement.

Some sort of visual indicator would have been really helpful to locate out of view projectiles. (Doubly so if this is meant to be playable by hearing impaired users.)

Overall, if you're not gonna shell out cash to play SuperhotVR, this is an OK experience in its current state. Hope the developers keep at it because it's got potential!

Thank you for your review aviseras!
>Graphics and menus had a decent aesthetic overall - especially for a free game!
I will take it as a compliment, because I'm a programmer but had to design the menus and 2d stuff from scratch with a terrible taste... so I'm happy to know some people think it looks decent.

>The angle on the swords felt slightly off.
At first it was placed straight with the hand grip. Later I realized it was unfortable and tilted slighty, but didn't want to tilt it too much so that it became less realistic, but maybe it's true the grip when using a real sword is softer just like when handling a katana, and this makes the blade fall a little forward even if the wrist doesn't turn so much.

>The reloading was really unintuitive. Seemed like I needed to fully empty the clip to reload
Yes, you have to spend all the bullets, and when the bullets slots gets up yo just need to shake the wrist to reload, like in the old zapper games.
I though in setting a reload buttons, but I though it would feel less realistic. Also the buttons let you move around and jump, so didn't want to spend them in this action. Maybe in the future I could set it in the press stick action.

>Some sort of visual indicator would have been really helpful to locate out of view projectiles.
Well, I tried to design the game in a way that you don't get any help while playing. If you reflect a bullet, it will move depending to your motion and not to kill automatically the closer enemy etc. I know it's harder but It feels pretty good when you get used to control it through skills alone.
In the case of the bullets, they are slow but you have to keep an eye on your surroundings.
Maybe I could create an additional mode in the future for people who want to have a simpler action experience and include all this kind of funcionality.

>Hope the developers keep at it because it's got potential!
Thanks! It's getting hard to get some spare time but I would like to release some additional stuff in the future.
If you don't like the revolver you can test all other kind of range and body combat weapons in the other stages. Most people doesn't realize there are other areas in the games more related to body combat with your own hands, lances, etc in case they prefer this to shooting weapons.

In case you play a little further, please, share your opinion because it's interesting to know what people like or dislike in each set of stages, as most of them are different and there are more than 60 stages and 4 galaxies to discover new stuff.

Thanks again!

DO NOT GET THIS GAME

I just spent three hours trying to do this one sniper challenge and I still have not beat it because of shaky hands, I do not recommend this game at all

Hi counterlei, I'm sorry to hear you were not able to complete the basic sniper challenge. My recomendation would be to stick your arms to your body to stabilize your aim. Also, I recommend not to use a full zoom unless necessary because it will become more difficult to aim as tiny movements will move the full scope view a bigger distance.
Omega Blade is a hardcore game and we don't mask your real actions, not snipping aim, not reflecting attacks with the sword including an auto-rebound-to-enemy mode, etc. Most people trying it clear the basic stage under 8 minutes, and most skilled players only need less than 1 minute, so we didn't think it would be a so difficult challenge for players, I'm sorry to know the basic snipping challenge became too difficult in your case. Maybe the tips provided in this answer could help you to get your aim steady enough to complete it.
Thank you for your feedback!

Incredibly well made

It's awesome how you can hold swords backhanded! I just have two complaints: there is no left-handed mode for vision; when I tried to look through the sniper scope with my left eye, it was blurry, but with my right eye it was clear. The second is that I'd like to only compete against my own personal score, as it's discouraging to continually hear I failed against a stranger online when I was never intending to compete anyways. Will update if either of these is addressed.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback! I defined the vision mode initially in both hands, but later remove it to use these buttons for the back propeller. Maybe I will re-add this again in a not used button, such like the lefrt stick click.
I will check the scope issue with the left eye. Didn't realize it until you said it.

Also, it would be good to have some feedback to know if you all find the link to other galaxys. I'm not sure if people know you can travel to other galaxys. Casiopea Slash galaxy is unlocked from the start and you can travel there for hardcore close combat experiences, but I fear maybe people don't watch the tutorial and don't try to press in the galaxy travelling gizmos in the map.

It's ok

Did not get much enjoyment playing this. After playing for about an hour, I found there's nothing really here that made me want to come back and have another go.

You have to wait for the bullets to run out before you can reload, and while that's true in the real world, in the gaming world I want to reload whenever I want to.

The sniping levels are infuriating and couple that with having to reload after every shot, I wanted the sniping levels to end asap!

This is my opinion, and judging by the game's score, I am in the minority.

It's cheap, and I rarely ask for refunds on cheap games, so I may give this another go in the future.

Hi! Thank you for the feedback. Everybody's opinion is valuable.
So if you want a faster action challenge and forget about reloading, maybe you should take the down path from Sirius Blast to the Heavy weapons galaxy, full of machinegun and shotgun challenges to destroy bipeds and droids.

Or in case you search for close combat, you could try the more hardcore region to the left, the Casiopea Slash region. There you have the compilation of stages using blades, disks, etc.

Did you try any of these galaxies? (you can travel among galaxies as you complete some stages) Did they fit better to your likes?

In case you didn't I hope you have the chance to give it another try and tell me your opinion.

Thanks again!
