First Contact is an official Oculus experience built for Oculus Quest. Experience the magic of ‘presence’ in VR, exploring moments that feel as real as they are fantastically impossible. We've built a magic box full of toys and a robot guide; make a new friend, then touch, tap, bounce, hold and throw things, and play together.
Oculus Rex designed First Contact, and is the team that brought you Dreamdeck, Farlands, Prologue and the original Toybox demo. We drew from the inspiration of the 80s: A magical decade when computers and game consoles moved from science fiction to household items and everything seemed possible.
(And we wanted to show everyone where the save icon came from!)
Special thanks to Fun Bits Interactive for porting this experience to Oculus Quest!

For first time VR users, this is a must play!
It gives a short and sweet introduction to the magic of VR.
Unfortunately Meta has failed to update this game for the Quest 3 platform.
Though if you use the Quest Games Optimizer app, the visuals prove to be amazing!
The difference is staggering.
Meta should spend some time updating these older experiences, that are still being used.
Having played this on the Quest 2 on release and then now optimized through QGO on the quest 3 it is safe to say that the game holds up, clearly a lot of love went into it, even though Meta seems to have forgotten about it.
Meta! We need more of this! I love oculus games!
A short, well made, introduction to the world of VR, with a variety of interactables.
Fun.
Игра очень крутая, жаль что нет ещё каких-то развязок или продолжения игры, но игра просто огонь, очень интересная и робот просто милейший
Wonderful and very enjoyable for all ages!
I always let people play this when they never attempted VR before, and they are always flabbergasted! Haha
Go play it the robot has floppy disks and you can put in a 3D printer?
