Neffy -Moonlight Labyrinth-

Cute, adorable, and comfy. It's the easiest way to describe Neffy : Moonlight Labyrinth.

You control Novalis as you assist Neffy through increasingly difficult puzzles that defy the laws of gravity near the end of the game. You'll move blocks, move bridges, shoot water/fire, and various other things while also moving Neffy to find various lunar crystals in order to gain access to abilities such as turning into a cat and even acquiring a weapon later on. You even play the part of healer, should Neffy take any damage during the journey, or give her a comforting head pat if you feel so inclined. She reacts to all of it which only adds to the experience as you guide her to save Ceres.

The game starts off easy and while things never become I-need-a-guide-to-get-through-this hard, some stages will take you some time to get through. The only instance of frustration coming from the last stage, where a completely new gimmick is introduced. The stages increase in difficulty gradually as the game progresses, allowing you to utilize everything you've learnt. The puzzles made me think, but I never felt overwhelmed and instead encouraged to take different vantage points to see if I was missing something. Vantage points you can access are more than enough, though I switched to standing so I could better look at the puzzles. I clocked in 12 hours, and that was playing through the game casually, which makes the 15 dollar price tag more than generous. It also comes with access to both English and Japanese voices to play out Neffy and Nova's story.

Neffy is the best example I can think of when it comes to simple is best. It's not a graphical powerhouse, but still has nice little touches (especially Neffy as her tail sways, and her mouth moves when she talks). It's a very straightforward experience that was just fun to play from start to finish.

The game leaves it in the air for a sequel, and I sincerely hope Tom Create has enough success to produce one.

Lov lov lov so cute hope last a while tho and no promoted the way it should but I lov these type games similar to witchblood and down the rabbit hole and east at first but does get challenging so gv it a second. Kids would lov it also. Way to go but also why not promoted better then did I dnt get that? Why?
