Nano is a thrilling cellular adventure with real science in its DNA.
A strange virus is sweeping across the globe. As a trainee in a top-secret bioresearch program, you use your headset and haptic gloves to remotely control a nanodrone -- a tiny machine that gets injected into the human body.
With the drone, you operate a synthetic immune cell, jacking into infected patients around the world to fight their infections on the microscopic level, and ultimately track down and face the mystery virus itself.
You'll need to master the cell's living systems: you generate energy from food molecules, use the cell's DNA to manufacture a variety of proteins to keep the cell alive, and to combat invaders. This is not a science textbook -- it's a game to its core, but one that's based on real science. You've never experienced biology, or gaming, like this.

Started the game and I have a left hand glitch right on my head the whole time, I can't get rid of it. It's not my
controller or anything on my side. I get off the game and everything else is normal.. any bug fix updates?
This game is very underrated, well done devs!
In my opinion this is making the most of VR. It's actually quite comfortable as you can play it seated, it can be played for a longer time without feeling bad.
The fact that it's educational and using VR in a somewhat challenging but doable way is just perfect in my opinion. Definitely recommend!
please!!
If somebody had told me “you will remotely pilot a macrophage to destroy parasites, viruses, and other nasties, learn about various cell organelles and their functions, and sequence nucleotides to create protein blueprints for fighting off more of the nasties”, I would have thought this game holds more educational value than fun. But no: this game is a blast and has a little bit of everything. It’s creepy with the occasional bits of humor, the voiceover guidance is clear and concise, and the convincing narrative results in sympathy for the afflicted. The educational component is bundled seamlessly with the fun factor and can be reinforced by replaying at the higher difficulty levels (there are 4: trainee, normal, hard, and intense). Lighthaus knocked it out of the park with this one and I’ll be watching closely for others like it.
I’ve just completed the first three patients in “Nano,” and I’m already hooked. This VR game masterfully blends nerdy science with immersive gaming, creating an experience that’s both educational and exhilarating. As a trainee in a bioresearch program, you control a nanodrone injected into the human body to fight infections at the microscopic level. The use of real science in the game’s DNA makes it incredibly engaging, teaching you about cellular systems while you play.
The game’s ability to balance fun with learning is impressive, making it standout in VR. I’m eager to continue my journey and uncover the mystery behind the global virus. If you’re a fan of science and VR, “Nano” is the game. ✊🏽.
