Welcome to Myst: a starkly beautiful island, eerily tinged with mystery and shrouded in intrigue.

Journey to Myst Island and other stunning, long dormant locations - called “Ages”- and begin to unravel the mystery you have been thrust into. As you learn what happened on the island, you will find that you are playing a key role in an epic story whose ending has not yet been written. Explore deeper connections in these stunning and surreal Ages, uncover a story of ruthless family betrayal, and make choices that will affect both you, and the world of Myst itself.

Cyan, the indie studio that created the beloved classic, has reimagined Myst.

Built from the ground up to play in VR, Myst is teeming with new art, new sound, re-imagined interactions, and even optional puzzle randomization. Finally... the highly anticipated Myst VR experience has arrived!

UPDATE: April 4th, 2023: Please note that due to newer Meta software updates preventing the support of new features for Quest 1 moving forward, and our desire to make sure Myst supports the latest and greatest software & hardware, we must cease Quest 1 support in Myst on October 1st, 2023. Good....at first

What I thought was an excellent game, so excellent, I bought Riven ready for when I finished it, became a sudden problem on the Stone Age ship where I got stuck in the ships wall and everything went black. I can’t get out. No controls work appart form exit. Quite close to the end so I refuse to start again. I also refunded Riven as a consequence.....as I now hear of similar bugs and now believe the reviews.
In addition to this review on completion the game is pretty good despite the occasional glitch, upgraded to 4 stars

Exactly what you remember

This game has always needed to be in vr and it is beautiful. However, there is nothing new here, so it is mostly a walk down memory lane, rather than new discoveries.

A messy puzzle game

When it comes to adventure game,, story line and LOGIC sequence of puzzles are crucial. This game lacks both rules. What a messy and senseless puzzles with no purpose in the storyline. What could be a decent game (some stunning graphics) became a dull game without order or harmony. I didn't even finished it.

Exclusive Oculus home environment

New improved graphics, game just keeps getting better and better.

Every puzzle solved without looking up how to do it is pretty satisfying and probably the reason this game has those high ratings.

It's cool to have that environment unlocked once you buy the Quest version. It's like keeping a memento of the time when I was in Dni.
